After some consideration, Conrad made up his mind to approach Krista.
She was the only other person he knew on this island, though their first interaction had been brief and admittedly awkward. Still, they had established communication, which made it easier to talk to her.
Plus, her behavior told him that she didn't seem like the sort to have a spine for backstabbing or over-the-top ambition. And so, Krista was the chosen one.
