"Dammit. I'm so stupid"

Conrad cursed himself.

He couldn't move, a thick shimmering wire had constricted his movements. When he tried to use his [Devil's Presence] it immediately dispersed, even brute strength proved to be fruitless.

He was trapped.

It was shameful how he had allowed himself to be captured so easily.

_What the heck happened? _

No doubt he was absolutely vigilant before this whole thing started, but when Sonny said those words, he lost focus for a moment and opportunists took full advantage of it.

Sonny wasn't doing any better either. Despite the simplicity of his restraints, he could not budge out of them either. Like Connie, he also cursed under his breath.

"Don't move!"
