I slowly open my eyes, a pain spreading throughout my body. My vision is still a bit blurry, but I can see my mother's face looking at me with concern.
"Aisha... come on, wake up, dear," my mother says softly.
I'm a bit confused, "Mom... where am I?"
"You're still in the hospital, Aisha," my mother answers calmly.
Suddenly, my memory drifts to Randy, my boyfriend. A feeling of panic immediately grips my heart. "Randy! Mom, how's Randy? Where is he now?" I ask anxiously.
My mother tries to calm me down, "Randy has passed the critical stage, dear. He's been moved to the care ward."
Hearing that, I feel relieved. But a sense of worry still fills my heart. "I have to see him, Mom. I want to see his condition for myself. Please, let me go," I plead sincerely.
My mother tries to hold me back, "Aisha, don't rush. You still need to rest. You forced yourself to see Randy earlier, and look what happened, you fainted."
I don't want to give up, "But, Mom, I have a bad feeling. I have to see Randy now. I promise this time I'll be strong, I won't faint again."
Seeing the determination in me, my mother finally gives in and approves my request. I'm seated in a wheelchair, and my mother diligently pushes it towards Randy's care room.
Along the way, I keep praying in my heart, hoping Randy is doing well. My heart is pounding, the feelings of anxiety and worry cannot be hidden. I just want to see Randy as soon as possible, to make sure my boyfriend is really okay.
With mixed emotions, I'm pushed towards Randy's care room by my mother. My heart is pounding, the feelings of anxiety and worry never cease to haunt my mind.
Finally, we arrive in front of Randy's room. With trembling hands, I try to push the wheelchair I'm sitting on, entering the room. My eyes immediately focus on Randy's figure lying on the bed, medical tubes attached to his body.
I'm stunned, tears immediately flow down my cheeks. The sight in front of me is so heartbreaking. Randy's body is covered in what appear to be horrific injuries. I slowly approach his bed, my hands trembling as I touch his pale face.
"Randy... oh God, what happened to you?" I whisper softly, my heart seemingly being squeezed.
I start to examine Randy's injuries carefully. My heart aches even more when I realize that the injuries are not caused by an accident, but appear to be the result of being hit by a blunt object.
"Aunt, it seems these are not accident injuries, but rather look like injuries from being hit by a blunt object," I say with a sad tone.
My mother and Victoria, Randy's mother, immediately approach to examine the injuries. They look at each other with worried expressions.
"Yes, Aisha, Aunt and Randy's father also suspect these are not accident injuries. Because the injuries do indeed look like they were inflicted by someone," Victoria replies with a hoarse voice. "Now, Randy's father is at the police station to report this."
My mother nods in agreement, "If that's the case, it's best to do a medical examination as soon as possible, while the incident is still fresh."
"We've already asked the hospital to perform a medical examination on Randy," Victoria responds.
My mother and I nod in understanding. Then I say to Victoria, "Aunt... mother, could you leave us alone for a moment? I want to be alone with Randy."
Victoria sighs, "Okay, Aisha. Aunt will wait for you outside. If anything happens, quickly call us," she says, then they both leave the room.
I look at Randy again, my heart aching even more seeing his condition. Gently, I hold his cold hand. My tears can no longer be held back, flowing down my cheeks.
"Randy... what really happened? Who dared to hurt you like this?" I whisper between sobs. I feel so hopeless, as if the world is collapsing on my shoulders.
Tears continue to flow endlessly down my cheeks. My heart feels so agonizingly painful seeing Randy lying helpless in front of me. Gently, I hold his cold hand, hoping I can give warmth to my beloved.
"Randy... you have to recover, dear. You have to be strong," I sob softly, struggling to hold back the tears that are increasingly difficult to contain.
I remember Randy's promise that he spoke to me so beautifully, a sacred bond that will bind us forever. "You still have a promise to me to marry me, Randy. Come on, wake up, dear. Don't leave me," I plead in a begging tone, hoping he will open his eyes and respond to my words.
But Randy remains motionless. Only silence greets me, making me sink deeper into despair.
Slowly, I start to recount the beautiful memories we created together back when we were still in high school. "Do you remember, Randy? You had to fight so hard to win my love. You always chased after me, never giving up even though I often rejected you."
I smile bitterly, remembering Randy's persistent struggle. "But in the end, you managed to conquer my heart. We always spent time together, creating many unforgettable precious memories."
My hand moves gently, caressing Randy's cheek with affection. "You can't give up, Randy. You have to wake up and become the person I know. I need you, we all need you here."
But Randy still doesn't give any response. Only the sound of medical machines dominates the room, as if mocking my despair.
I bury my face in Randy's chest, hugging him tightly while sobbing bitterly. "Please, Randy... come back to me. Don't leave me alone. I don't know what to do if you're gone..."
My heart seems to be torn into small pieces. The vision of the future we dreamed of together begins to tear my soul apart. I can't bear the thought of my life without Randy by my side.
"I love you, Randy... I love you so much. You can't go, I need you..." I sob miserably, drowning in deep sorrow.
I keep hugging Randy, burying my face in his chest when suddenly I feel his fingers move. Slowly, I raise my face and am startled to hear his weak voice calling me.
"A...Aisha," he murmurs, although his eyes are still closed.
Happiness immediately wells up in my heart. I quickly rise from the wheelchair, approach Randy's bed, and hold his hand tightly.
"Randy... sweetheart, I'm here. Come on, wake up," I say with a joyful smile blossoming on my face.
But my smile immediately fades as I see Randy's body suddenly convulsing. Panic envelops me, I don't know what to do.
"Mom! Victoria! Come here quickly!" I shout as I press the emergency call button next to Randy's bed.
