CHAPTER X

''What the fuck are you?'' asked Daniel looking at the transformed human with a startled face. Meanwhile, at the utopia, everyone is cheering and celebrating that the mission was a success and they managed to fool the aliens. It turns out, the hybrid alien dressed as one of many colonels and well respected, so the aliens thought he was one of them and he had the power to call Daniel Watkins. This was it, Daniel was going to be taken to the utopia without being noticed, if Lucas is able to pull it off, he will be a world hero. Melanie is looking at Lucas like a savior, they are seeing Daniel and he is about to be brought to them. The kids can't contain their happiness, the head of the elites is looking at Lucas like a proud father, after all he is a genius. ''My name is Morphus and I am here on behalf of all humans on our utopia. I have come here to get you out of here and you will reunite with your family and the rest of the people. You will be free from alien slavery, come with me Daniel'' said the hybrid. ''I'm sorry but I can't'' said Daniel.

This shocks the whole room back at the utopia and the happy atmosphere immediately changes into a quiet and confused one. ''What do you mean Daniel, this is literally you last chance to get out of this planet, you will see your family again and you will live happily'' clarified Morphus. ''Shit... Roy put the whole room on a hologram in that drone, he needs special people'' said Lucas starting to panic. Then Roy does so and a hologram appears in the drone, ''Daniel its me, Lucas'', ''yes Lucas, I recognize you'' said Daniel. ''Please, come with Morphus because that is only and last chance we have of getting you out of there. Your family is here seeing this, you have to come we need you Daniel'' said Lucas. ''Lucas, these people here need me more than you need me, if you want me there, bring everyone else too. And my family, as long as they are okay I will be okay here too'' said Daniel, ''Daniel you are not going to fight off these aliens alone, you will need our help. We can plan that best when you are here!'' said Lucas looking panicked, ''yes, I will need your help, but I will do it best when I stay here. This is a big decision I understand but I can't bring my self to think of the guilt I will feel if I leave all these people here suffering. It might take time, but I will find a way to liberate us from here. And I know there is a few people out there who have revolutionary thoughts like mine. That is all Lucas'' said Daniel. ''Zoom to the family Roy'' said Lucas.

Then Melanie appeared on the screen, ''Danny, honey, please come to us, we need you just like they do, your kids need you, I need you. Please don't stay, It is not the right decision. Think about it, you and Lucas and other geniuses will combine your minds and figure something out to liberate Earth. It can all be done here, you will be with your family'' said Melanie very emotional, ''Dad we want you here please come home'' said one of the kids about to cry. ''Listen to me okay, the world needs me and I promise you I will be able to succeed and see you again okay, but I can't leave all these people here when I know I'll get a way to end all of this. I'm sorry and I will see you soon'' Daniel says this then he walks to the drone door and it opens for him then he walks out. ''Daniel wait you can't stay there'' shouted Lucas looking frustrated. Melanie started crying and the kids just looked confused. ''Morphus, report back to the utopia, I repeat, report back to the utopia, mission failed'' concluded Roy in his communication device. Everyone in the room looked disappointed and Melanie has just finished crying like she just lost her husband. But she had yo stay strong for the kids. The head of the elites on the other hand looked unsurprised, like he expected this to happen and for Daniel to give a negative decision.

A few weeks ago, Cephas was presumed dead after being shot in the neck and stabbed with a sword. ''Goblin, take him to the recovery chamber. Tell the doctors to look into him'' said Alpharex then Goblin carried him out of the room. This whole time, the king is still looking out the window and has not moved. ''What have you done?!'' screamed Alpharex, ''do you think attempting to kill him will reduce the problems you two have with each other. Well king Asgard, he is not dead for your information and you just ignited rage inside of him. When he recovers from that, prepare for all out war!'' said Alpharex angrily. ''Well I'm ready for all out war Alpharex, I am always prepared for what the universe sends crashing down onto me. And if Cephas survives, that will give me a chance to kill him even in a more worse way. I am and always will be ready for any sorts of warfare'' said the king then he walked out and Alpharex followed him. The drone opens up and the rest of the soldiers get into their fighter jets and also those who came in the drone with the king. Cephas was put in some kind of machine with fluid and some kind of oxygen mask. It was to help him recover at an astonishing rate. This all took place without the guards knowing and also Cephas' soldiers, and they are informed of the situation by Goblin. But they can not do anything because it is the King.

Present day. Cephas opens his eyes slightly and he seems to have came back to life, or he has just woken up from a deep death sleep since he wasn't fully dead. The doctors drain the fluid that was in the machine and open it then they remove his mask. ''Where is that fool Asgard?'' he says this in a shaky voice but he looks furious. ''Sir it has been two earth weeks, he is gone now'' said one of the doctors, ''What? What do you mean it has been two earth weeks... wait, I remember now, Asgard tried to kill me, he came here very surprisingly. I should have known his intentions all along'' said Cephas as he tried to get up, it seemed really hard for him but the doctors helped him and got him out of the machine. He was all wet and could barely walk, they escorted him and dried him then he wore his commander armor again. ''That fool thinks he will get away with this huh? I will have to show him what type of commander he messed with. Call me Goblin, tell him to find me in my office'' said Cephas to the doctors as he walked out of the recovery chamber. After some, Goblin reports to the office, ''good to see you in good shape after some time commander'' said Goblin as he entered and closed the door behind him, ''I died for two weeks Goblin, I have to make sure Asgard suffers for the rest of his life. I know just the way Goblin'' said Cephas menacingly, ''I know exactly what you are thinking Cephas, you are going for his queen'' said Goblin.

''Exactly Goblin, you guessed it right. The last thing I said before I got shot in the neck was about his queen. That means its his weakest point, that is what I am going to do'' said Cephas with a menacing smile, ''do not think of killing her Cephas, that will mean the end of your life in very bad ways. I'm warning you, the king is more capable than you think'' said Goblin in a warning voice. ''Prepare twenty fighter jets and five hundred soldiers and my biggest drone, we have a heist to commit'' said Cephas, ''that is a lot of soldiers Cephas, don't tell me we are raiding the king's palace'', ''that is exactly what we are doing, we are raiding that place, he will be lucky if we leave him alive. We'll have to take his queen with us'' said Cephas. ''You do understand that he is willing to start an all out warfare if you dare enter his turf? You are making another bad choice Cephas. You are very lucky he spared you...'', ''do as I fuckin say Goblin! I am the one ordering here, I don't need any lecture of yours you idiot! Now go do what I told you to do!'' Cephas screamed with anger. Goblin got out of the office maintaining his calmness.

At the king's palace, the king and the queen are having a meal when an informant barges in, ''good day my lord, I have heard from some sources that commander Cephas has awoken from his recovery machine. He is very well and alive'' said the informant, ''thank you, you can leave now'' said the king and when he left, the king turned to his queen, ''he will be up to something not great, we have to raise our awareness and security, he will attack this place anytime and he threatened to harm you'' said the king, ''Asgard, I will have to repeat again, you are the king and you have all the power to demolish Cephas and end him once and for all. I don't know the reason you doubt yourself'' said the queen, ''It is not about doubt my queen, Cephas is turning heel on me but you can't ignore his importance to our empire. If I wanted to demolish him, I would have done it a very long time ago'' said the king. ''That is why he has you in his palm Asgard, he is using his significance to your empire against you. He knows it is your weakness and he is going to take any chance to demolish you before you do to him just because he knows all of your weaknesses. It is better to kill him and take the loss than making him bring disorder to your empire'' said the queen convincingly.

''You know what, you are right, I am going to prepare for him. I know he is planning an ambush, if I see him, I will make sure I kill him'' said the king as the queen nodded in approval. Back to the African axis, Goblin has brought the axis army chief to Cephas and he is explaining to him what he wants to be ready. ''Now, I am planning a big surprise for the king. We are going to raid his palace and take his most precious belonging, his queen away from him. That will give me the power to make him do whatever I want, I can even kill him. Now, I want this to be big, I need strong fighter jets and very skilled ground soldiers, I will cause chaos and I want to make him bow down to commander Cephas'' he laughs in an evil way after saying that. ''Commander, you do realize that the king has his security force too and they are ready for any ambush threat. This mission is very dangerous and it might cause casualties that are non reversible, If you are coming with us you might get killed because you will be the main target...'', ''shut up and listen! You have your role and I have mine too. I know what I will do and you also know what I told you to do. This mission is going to be successful and I am not going to get killed. Now do as I say!'' Cephas screamed angrily, ''yes sir'' said the army chief politely then he walked out. Goblin just stared at him with a serious face then he also just walks out.

The army chief the best fighter jets and held a meeting and briefed them what Cephas wanted to be done. They will hold training for three days and they will be ready for the big day. Same goes to the ground soldiers whose main mission will be to cover for Cephas as he goes for queen, this will be by shooting at the king's guards and soldiers, the fighter jets will aim to give a hard time those on the ground. This all centralizes to Cephas kidnapping the queen, if this mission succeeds, the king's power will be devalued and Cephas will have power over him. He will have him wrapped around his finger.

At the utopia, the head of the elites is holding a meeting with all other elites and also Lucas Morientes. ''Well, as you can see Lucas, Daniel has refused to comply and come to us, what can we expect you to do next?'' asked the head of the elites, ''look sir, Daniel left us no choice but to help him in this long term liberation struggle. We'll have to find a way to raid those aliens'' said Lucas, ''Daniel is no longer the main priority here'' clarified the head of the elites. ''He is not the main priority but if he even complied and came here, we would forget about all the remaining humans and we would decide to live here forever. We need to get our Earth back, it may be a long process but we have to do it'' said Lucas, ''that is very unrealistic Lucas, the focus now is to start developing this utopia and forget about earth'', ''we are not on the same page here sir, you are abandoning very human beings when most of them even defended and bought you time in order for people to evacuate. But they were never able to make and they are suffering, you on the other hand, is trying to forget about them and trying to move on...'', ''listen Lucas, listen! We are not able to fight off those aliens, we don't have the power to do that. So let us stop creating some fantasies and let's be realistic. This is our new home, so we have to focus on it, aliens are more powerful than us and they showed it when they conquered the whole planet in just a matter of a week, think again Lucas'' said the head. Lucas first kept quiet and there was silence for some seconds, ''it will take time sir, but we have to built a stronger empire and army because we have the resources to do that. I mean droids, robots powered by artificial intelligence. I will bring my plan in a week time'' said Lucas as he stood up and stormed out.

Three days later, fighter jets are getting ready, the mega drone is being inspected for the last time and ground fighters are loading their guns and packing as many bullets. Cephas is in the upper floor of his castle and he's looking at the preparations, he has his armor on and his holding a special gun that only axis commanders have and they rarely use. ''Aren't you going down there and join the preparations'' said goblin who is further in the room behind him, ''you are such a coward Goblin, a fighter like you should be coming with us'' said Cephas in a disappointed way. ''I don't involve myself in these types of senseless fights like this one here, you are investing too much power in this particular mission, which might result into huge losses and casualties if the king is ready and waiting for you'', ''you know what Goblin, you are a good fighter but you think too much of losses, which is why you will always just be a right hand and you will never be able to reach any higher position. Now if you'll excuse me, I got a mission to succeed'' Cephas says this as he walks past Goblin and walks through the door and goes down to where the soldiers are. Goblin remains there silent with his serious face.

Cephas gets into the mega drone and soldiers follow him, the fighter jets all start and they speed on the long road and after five seconds, they are all in the air then the mega drone rose in air and joined the triangular group of the twenty fighter jets, then at a very high speed, they flew off to the king's palace. ''Fighter jets, immediately start shooting down the palace and alert the guards and soldiers. Ground soldiers, get out as soon as the drone lands, try to cover me as I make my way into the palace and grab the queen, as soon as I come running with her, keep shooting at the soldiers until I make it into the drone. Jets should keep causing chaos all round and I am very sure we are going to succeed'' said Cephas on a communication device that made the message be heard by all fighter jets. After some minutes, they finally reach near the king's palace, ''brace yourself Asgard, you have company'', right then, the king's guards and soldiers spotted the air force coming at them, the fighter jets started causing chaos and killing many. The king's informant barges in at their lunch room when him and his queen are having a meal, ''my lord, we are being attacked and I think it is Cephas!'' said the informant in a panicked way. ''He's coming for you'' the king said facing the queen, ''tell all soldiers to call for backup at the base, he looks like he is here to destroy'' said the king also panicked but angry.

The drone lands and soldiers get out starting to shoot at the king's guards and soldiers, they are severely outnumbered and backup from the base might arrive at least in twenty minutes, this is enough time for Cephas to fulfill the mission and all his soldiers to kill all the guards and soldiers of the king, that is how outnumbered they are. Cephas gets out of the drone and runs to the entrance of the palace amidst all the gunfire and chaos surrounding him, he is also shooting those coming in his way and they are all headshots on first attempt, that is how good he is. He finally enters the palace and knows where he is going, he starts running towards the dining room and he meets some guards in the way, they all have guns but Cephas is different gravy, he shoots them all in the head one by one until he is able to reach the dining. He opens and finds the king and his scared queen. ''You know what I want Asgard, hand her over before I am forced to hurt you, you have no other choice'' Cephas says this looking at the queen. ''No Cephas, I am not letting her go'' says the king as he holds his knife tighter seeming ready to fight, ''you will not fight me with that Asgard. But I guess you've left me no choice'' said Cephas then he shot the king once in the shoulder and twice in the chest. The queen started screaming and Cephas went over to her and knocked her unconscious, he then lifted her and went. The king sees this in a blurry way then blacks out as Cephas goes.

Cephas went out with the queen and many of the king's guards were dead and only like ten of the hundred ground soldiers Cephas had decided to bring were dead, the remaining king's guards had sort of surrendered.

Cephas went to the drone with the queen on his shoulder and the rest of the ground soldiers followed then the fighter jets led the way and they all flew away.
