LIFE AS A FRESHMAN

Time came, and it was time for Adundo to join her preferred institution of learning. The necessary arrangements were made in advance to facilitate the process. Adundo was as proud as a peacock. She could not believe it was time for her to embark on her studies again. Nekesa, being the loving figure, had to make her daughter comfortable. She did some shopping for her daughter, which included a metallic box, padlocks, new dresses, one pair of shoes and other personal effects. They had to wait for a common bus which operated through the region to the neighboring country. There was only one bus which operated within the region. The bus always passed their place at 8: 00 am and once it had passed one had to wait till the following day. They were keen not to miss out. Nekesa and her lovely daughter left very early in the morning for their journey. They had to wait for an hour before the bus arrived. The bus, which was commonly known as Nyaugenya, arrived and picked them up.
