63 The Wind Would Not Die Down

Tom cautiously looked at Peter, who shrugged his shoulders in resignation.

"Mr Williams, are you sure Miss Smith was on that train? Should we check again?" He looked at John eagerly, "I've already called someone to check at the hotels, to see if she really boarded that train."

John snorted lightly, "I spoke to her before she boarded, and it should be the train I mentioned." He then felt a wave of confusion, "I need a driver, be quick."

Tom called behind to arrange for care, Peter walked up to him, "Tom, sincerely hope you can understand. Mr Williams is just worried and not trying to take his anger out on you."

Tom nodded in understanding, "I know, but sometimes nature's power is beyond our control. Let's do our best."
