Chapter 17: Mr. Alright

[Infirmary]

The school nurse insisted that I must stay in the infirmary for the rest of the afternoon. Olivia and Jo Ginger wanted to stay with me but the school nurse wants them to attend their classes. I’m glad that Olivia is okay according to the school nurse. Now, I’m lying in bed waiting for school to be over. I’m basking in my own peace despite the aching and excruciating pain I feel from my body.

“Are you alright?” I heard from the other side of the curtain divider. I spread it aside only to find the same white-haired senior I met in the bus stop, lying in bed.

“No, I’m not.” I told him the truth and the same answer as before when I met him. Somehow, for some reason I could be honest with this person.

“That’s alright, you will be.” He replied with the same answer as before. This white-haired senior… What’s his deal?

“Did you bleach your hair? Or are you just getting old quickly?” I tried changing the subject when he burst out of laughter.
