Chapter 11: Intimate Relationship Was Exposed

All the anger and pain she’d kept inside for years came rushing out. Bianca squeezed her fists, trying hard not to cry.

She refused to let these awful people see her cry!

Suddenly, the office door burst open, and a group of smartly dressed men walked in.

“Mr. Wilson, Mr. Lyons! What brings you here?” the president asked, surprised to see the unexpected visitors.

One of them was Justin, the manager of Phoenix Entertainment, which funded scholarships at Crestmont University. The other was Daniel Lyons, the minister of Education. Why were these important people here all of a sudden?

As Justin walked into the office, he couldn’t help but glance at Bianca before sitting down on the sofa.

When he got a call from Dave last night, he was surprised that someone as busy as Dave would be interested in this matter.

With all the work at the company lately, Justin had planned to deal with this problem later. But then Dave called and said he needed to fix it now or else he’d be transferred overseas. Scared, Justin dropped everything and rushed to the president’s office with Daniel.

Seeing Bianca in the office, Justin was shocked. ‘Did Dave get involved because of her?’

Daniel sat next to Justin on the sofa, looking around. He asked the president, “Mr. Prescott, the Department of Education got a report that the dean of your school, Samuel Ballard, is having an affair with a student who keeps winning the national scholarship. Is this true?”

“Um-” The president looked flustered, turning to Samuel for help. “Mr. Ballard, can you explain? Is what he said true?”

Samuel’s face went pale. He didn’t know how the Department of Education and Phoenix Entertainment found out about his affair!

But he knew he had to defend himself. If this got out, his career would be ruined!

“Mr. Lyons, that’s not true! I’ve always been fair with scholarships.”

“But Bianca Scott has had the highest grades for three years, far better than Mia Davis, who’s in second place,” Daniel said coldly. “You said Bianca had bad behavior in her evaluations, which made her ineligible for the top scholarship. I want to know exactly what you meant by ‘bad behavior.’”

Samuel wiped the sweat from his forehead, stuttering, “I... I heard from other students that Bianca was involved with more than one guy at once, and she was a kept woman of a rich man. That’s against our school’s rules, so I-”

“Mr. Ballard, you can’t just rely on rumors!” Daniel interrupted sharply. “You need evidence! If you heard it from other students, bring them here to confirm. We need to know when, where, and how they found out about their allegations against Miss Scott. If you can’t prove it, we’ll involve the police. We have to be careful and investigate it thoroughly as a student’s future is at stake.”

Samuel was terrified. He didn’t expect Daniel to be so strict, demanding proof. If the police got involved, he’d be in big trouble! He didn’t dare to lie anymore. He stood there, pale and nervous.

“Also, I heard there might be an intimate relationship between Mr. Ballard and Mia Davis, the scholarship winner,” Justin, who hadn’t said much, suddenly spoke up.

The words “intimate relationship” hung in the air, making the room go silent.

Mia nervously bit her lip, looking to Samuel for help, but he seemed stunned like he’d seen a ghost. He was speechless!

“What are you saying?!” Samuel yelled, too panicked to speak quietly. “This is just a rumor, baseless slander!”

“We’ll see about that soon enough.”

Justin gestured, and his assistant turned on a laptop and played a surveillance video.

Samuel and Mia froze, watching in shock.

In the video, Samuel and Mia were seen feeding each other in a restaurant. It was clear to anyone watching that they had an intimate relationship.

They glared at Bianca with anger, thinking she was the one who found the footage.

After the video, the assistant showed screenshots of Samuel and Mia’s check-in records at a hotel, solid evidence of their relationship.

“He’s a department dean, yet he had an affair with a student and used his power to mistreat another student.

“Mr. Prescott, should we support a school that ignores such serious issues?” Justin stared sharply at the university president.

The president trembled in fear. “Don’t worry, Mr. Wilson! I’ll investigate it thoroughly and find a solution.”

Justin snorted coldly. “Mr. Lyons, I trust the Department of Education will handle this fairly. Whether it’s a student, a teacher, a dean, or even a president involved, we can’t let them off easily.”

The president paled, realizing he made a mistake covering up for Samuel. Now, he was involved and likely to face consequences.

Daniel nodded sternly and stood up. “Samuel Ballard will be removed from his position immediately. We’ll investigate everyone involved before deciding on punishments.”

Samuel was shocked. He’d worked hard for twenty years to reach where he was. If he got fired now, it would ruin his career.

Suddenly, he looked at Mia, who was shaking. He walked over, grabbed her arm, and pulled her up from her seat.

“It’s her fault! She’s the one who told me about Bianca’s ‘bad behavior.’ She lied to me! I was tricked by her, and I made a mistake. Please give me another chance. I won’t mess up again!”

Samuel shouted, trying to blame everything on Mia. He looked angry and desperate, hoping to shift the blame.

Mia tried to break free and yelled back, “Bullshit! That’s a lie! I never said anything! And why would I want to be with someone as old and ugly as you? You forced me!”

Samuel got so mad that he slapped her.

Mia fell to the floor, stunned.

“You’re the one who seduced me, you liar!” Samuel yelled angrily.

“I didn’t… I never…!” Mia sobbed, holding her swollen cheek, unable to talk properly.

Samuel was going to hit her again, but others stopped him. Security guards came and took him away.

The chaos was finally over.

Bianca was stunned. She couldn’t believe what just happened. A few minutes ago, she thought she’d get expelled. How did things change so fast?

‘Was someone secretly helping her? But who could it be?’

As Justin walked past Bianca, he winked at her and left with a smirk.

Bianca was even more confused now. She didn’t know him, so why did he act like he knew her?

Lost in thought, Bianca left the building. She thought Blake might know someone like Justin. He had confidently said those bad people would get what they deserved. She guessed he secretly helped her, but she didn’t know why he didn’t tell her beforehand.
