Under Dave’s foot, Haris whimpered in pain. Dave grabbed his arm and talked with a chilling voice.
“Is this the hand you used to hurt her?”
Terrified, Haris shook his head, but a scream of pain came out as his arm broke.
It was then that Haris realized how terrifying the man in front of him was. Knowing he couldn’t match Dave, he desperately tried to run away.
Haris grabbed a knife from the ground and slashed at Dave’s ankle. Dave stepped back, giving Haris a chance to scramble up and escape.
Dave didn’t pursue him because his men were waiting outside the cabin. Even if Haris managed to get out, he wouldn’t be able to escape.
Dave rushed to Bianca. He quickly untied her, covered her exposed body with his coat, and gently lifted her into his arms.
Looking at Bianca, her body bruised and injured, Dave felt a sharp pain in his heart.
He had arrived too late.
Dave gently clasped Bianca’s pale hand, his eyebrows twitching slightly.
