Friendly Tournament

Charlotte lowered her voice, arms folded tighter. "But here's the twist—seems like they're changing the format today. Word is, this round's not going to be some brutal bracket match. They're testing something else."

Cruzer frowned. "What do you mean?"

"A friendly match. Team-based skirmishes. No eliminations—just observation. The judges want to see how we work, not just how we fight."

Jean blinked. "Wait… you're telling me we get to beat people up and not get booted out for it?"

Charlotte smirked again. "Exactly. Think of it as a 'temperament test.' Teamwork, restraint, creativity. You show off, but you don't overstep. Injure someone too badly and you're out. Cooperate well and you're golden."

Cruzer exchanged a look with Elara. She nodded slightly, her expression thoughtful.

"A chance to measure synergy," Elara said. "Tactics over brute strength."

Jean stretched. "Sounds fun. And a little dangerous."
