Ryota found himself alone aboard the train, en route to school, his thoughts consumed by Yuji. "Yuji-san, you are simply adorable," he mused to himself. In a playful moment, Yuji responded, "Oh, fuck me, Ryo kun," while tenderly pressing Ryota's hand to his cheek. "Gladly," Ryota replied, his mind drifting into a delightful daydream, only to be jolted back to reality by a voice calling out, "Ryo-san!" He glanced up to see Kite approaching. "What's on your mind, Ryo-san? You look troubled," Kite inquired. "Nothing," Ryota replied, but Kite wasn't having it. "Oh, please. I know you too well. Is it a romantic dilemma?" Ryota hesitated, "Can I really trust you? You do love to gossip." With a perfectly composed demeanor, Kite assured him, "Absolutely. My purpose is to serve you, and you alone." Ryota began, "It's about Yuji—" but before he could finish, Akiru leaped onto Kite, interrupting, "What are you two discussing?" "Nothing," Kite replied, brushing it off. As they arrived at school, Ryota never got the chance to finish his thought, but just uttering Yuji's name was enough for Kite to grasp the situation. He chose not to pry further, understanding all too well.
Strolling toward class, they spotted Yuji at the entrance, engaged in conversation with another student. The exchange was lively, and Yuji's laughter erupted, so infectious that it brought tears to his eyes. Ryota couldn't help but think, "His laugh is absolutely adorable, like that of a charming little boy." Before long, Yuji launched into his lesson, but Ryota's mind drifted back to his delightful daydream. Just as he was getting lost in his tantalizing thoughts, Suga jolted him back to reality with a playful, "Ryo-san, we need to practice!" Ryota simply nodded in agreement.
They strolled into the gymnasium when Ryosuke declared, "Today, we're all staying late. For those who live far from school, feel free to head home early." But, as per usual, Ryota was utterly absorbed in the game, losing track of time. Akiru was no different. It was only after practice wrapped up that Ryota suddenly remembered, "Crap, I was supposed to leave early!" Meanwhile, Akiru, Kite, and Suga had plans to crash at Suga's place, which was a cozy little single room—definitely not spacious enough for Ryota. Yuji chimed in, "Why not have Ryota come to my house? He's been there before, so it shouldn't be too awkward." Internally, Ryota was grinning, but he played it cool on the outside, saying, "No worries, I'll just find a room." Yuji insisted, "No way, staying at a hotel is too risky. You're coming with me." And just like that, Ryota's scheme unfolded perfectly; he found himself nestled beside Yuji in his bed.
Ryota found himself once again plagued by those utterly embarrassing dreams. In a moment of unconscious affection, he gently brushed his fingers against Yuji's cheek, prompting a slight twitch from him. Startled awake, Ryota leaned in closer to Yuji's face, tucking a stray lock of hair behind his ear. This gentle gesture roused Yuji from his slumber, causing him to instinctively recoil and bump his head against the wall. Rubbing the sore spot, he inquired, "What were you up to?" Ryota, quick to cover his tracks, replied, "I had a dream about rescuing a princess, and we were about to kiss." Yuji smirked, "Good thing you woke up," his mind racing at the thought of what might have transpired had Ryota's lips actually met his in that dreamlike haze. The moment Yuji drifted back into slumber, Ryota tenderly brushed his fingers across Yuji's cheek, a soft smile gracing his lips as he mused, "He sleeps like a baby," before planting a gentle kiss on him.
