Isabella's POV

As soon as I asked Richard about Miss Anastasia, his face tensed up. He shifted slightly in his seat , his eyes flickering away for a moment as if he was searching for the right words. His body language seemed uneasy—his shoulders hunched slightly, and his fingers fidgeted on the edge of the table. There was a brief pause before he responded, as if the question had caught him off guard or touched on something he wasn't prepared to talk about.

"It's okay, Richard. I just want to know why Anastasia acts so strangely and rudely with me," I said, my voice filled with confusion.

As the words left my mouth, I could feel the weight of my own uncertainty. My brow furrowed slightly, and I looked at Richard, hoping for some clarity. My tone was soft, not accusing, just genuinely puzzled. I didn't understand why Anastasia behaved the way she did, and it bothered me.
