Boom!
The loud bang echoed through the cavern, reverberating off the stone walls. The shield protecting Rain trembled under the assault, nearly shattering.
The impact sent the giant beast ape reeling back, wounded and enraged. Despite its injuries, the ape was relentless, charging once more at the shield, its massive claws pounding against it with primal fury.
Rain watched carefully, his brows furrowed, every muscle in his body tense as he tracked the ape's movements.
An hour dragged on in the intense stand-off, but finally, a sharp crack split the air. The shield gave way, shattering into countless fragments and fading into nothingness.
"Roar!" The ape's howl was deafening, a sound filled with anger and triumph.
Its massive hand swung toward Rain, claws extended, each one glinting dangerously. The beast seemed to realize that Rain was the one who had stolen the spiritual fruit it had been guarding for so long.
