"How can this be possible!"
Cardin was trying to deal with Rapier Wasps that were trying to sting him in the face. He didn't know why these Rapier Wasps weren't doing anything to the team he was targeting to mess with.
He heard from his friend that when He was changing to Faunus. Sullivan had done something suspicious. He swiped his finger in his direction as if intent to do something to him.
Cardin thought it was his semblance that could change people into Faunus. It was the only way to explain the absurdity of the situation he was in.
So he blamed it on Sullivan that he was the one who did it to him without investigating first. And even if it wasn't him. It was just another bully he did to his classmate. Nothing new.
But now it backfired on him and his team. Those Rapier Wasps were attacking him and his team instead of them.
"Ugh! We need to escape from here as fast as possible otherwise we will get stung for real!"
Russell spoke while he tried to dodge one of the wasps. His aura was running low and if he was stung by it one or two more times. He would be in the real world of pain.
He didn't tell Cardin about Sullivan so he could get revenge but he told him that he would be aware of him so that he didn't offend him.
Who would have thought that Cardin would be this petty and want revenge.
"Let's retreat. It really isn't worth avenging Cardin just so we have to get stung!"
Dove said, as he was the one to escape first. He didn't like their petty revenge in the first place.
Sky nodded and went after him.
"Humph! Run as much as you can but after this I will beat the shit out of you two!"
Cardin was now very angry at his friends for escaping.
Russell who said about escaping was the one who still waited for Cardin to escape his aura was now in the red. He was going to get stung for real now.
"Oh no."
Now that his aura was out he would get stung for real and he might be sent to hospital after this.
That was the case if they found him before he was killed by the wasps.
And as the Rapier Wasps were about to sting him to death they stopped. They then acted like they didn't see him and went to Cardin instead.
"What's happening? They just ignore me like that."
While he was wondering why the angry wasps weren't doing anything to him a voice rang near him.
"Such a loyal friend… It would be a waste for someone who didn't abandon his friend to get stung to death."
"S-Sullivan"
Russell was shocked when he heard the voice. He didn't think that the one who would save him from death would be Sullivan. The target of Cardin's petty revenge.
Sullivan was now watching as Cardin was stung by the wasps. His aura ran out and he couldn't do anything to those wasps because of his choice of weapons.
Mace wasn't suitable to use to fight with small targets like those wasps.
He screamed in pain and asked for help. He saw Sullivan standing there helping Russell stand up. He asked for his help because he knew Sullivan could make these wasps ignore him and his friends.
"Help me! Help me please!"
Russell looked at Cardin in confusion. Why did he ask for help when those wasps were gone? He didn't know that Sullivan used Genjutsu to make Cardin see the wasps attacking him. He felt pain but he would not die.
"Don't worry. He just saw hallucinations. He might be allergic to the red sap or something."
Oh the irony. Sullivan would not stop using Genjutsu until he learned his lesson.
After the incident. Sky and Dove came back with Glinda. When they came to the place where Cardin and Russell were. They saw something out of the world.
Cardin kowtowed to Sullivan. He then said that he would never bully anyone again and he would treat his friend and Faunus better in the future.
Sullivan then nodded his head like a wise man and spoke to him with wisdom.
"Now that you have learned your lesson, I will not make things difficult for you. Go, young man, and make the world a better place."
"Thank you master. I will not let you down!"
Glinda could only watch the scene with confusion. She looked at Sky and Dove for explanation. But all they did was look at her and blink their eyes. It looked like Sullivan was the only one who could answer her question.
