Chapter 256 I'll be back [Edited]

The God Of Darkness and The God Of Light had descended on the remnant world.

Their arrival brought a profound shift in the balance of power, as they controlled every aspect of this world. They might be able to control everything in the remnant, but if they go outside, They can't do anything.

They were just in time before Sullivan would go out of this world and out of their reach, If they were a little bit late. They might not be able to catch Sullivan in time.

They looked at Sullivan, who was now carrying a twelve-year-old girl on his arm. They checked on the two of them and thought that Sullivan might have a kid with a mortal.

"So It is like what we have thought. He had an affair with a mortal."

The God Of Darkness frowned, his eyes narrowing with disdain.

"Such a foolish mistake for a god, even though he is still young," he sneered.

The God Of Light, however, remained silent, his expression filled with compassion as he observed the innocent child in Sullivan's arms.

Sullivan looked at the brother gods with difficulty. This was the first time he met someone like them—beings of immense power and authority. He couldn't help but feel fear for the first time in his life.

Fortunately, only he was caught in their power, as Tsunade and Hermione had already admitted to the guild that the mission was completed and were sent to their respective worlds.

Everyone who linked with Hermione went to his world too, so they might be safe there.

Sullivan's heart raced as he realized the weight of the situation. He knew that he had to find a way to navigate this encounter with the brother gods and ensure the safety of both himself and Ai.

"You look scared of us, Young God. We came here personally to deal with you. Who gave you permission to interfere with our course? This world might not be the world about which we care much, but it is still in our domain."

The God Of Darkness spoke with hidden anger. He didn't think about it much when he was in his domain. but when he saw that many things had changed and It wasn't the way he liked it, He felt wrathful.

His and His brother's divinities were reduced so much. The cage was gone, and millions upon millions of souls had gone back to the reincarnation circle.

He realized that his power and influence had greatly diminished, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing control over the souls that were once under his dominion.

Sullivan, when he heard that something inside of him tried to break free, The God Of Darkness frowned deeply even though he didn't have eyes or eyebrows.

He felt that the great divine power was within his body, but he couldn't bring it out for some reason.

The God Of Darkness didn't have patience. He wanted to kill Sullivan and be done with it so that he could go back and do what he had to do. He would do the same as he had done in the past. He would wipe out Salem and Ozpin's memories so they could be his tools for gaining more divinity from mortals.

And as he was about to do that, Someone had come and stopped him first.

Salem and Ozpin appeared before The God Of Darkness, their presence disrupting his power. Salem, with her immortality and desire for freedom, stood defiantly in the face of the divine being.

Ozpin, the wise and ancient wizard, held a glimmer of hope in his eyes as he confronted The God Of Darkness.

Together, they would fight against their fate and protect humanity from being mere pawns in the god's game.

"You dare to come back, you shitty gods! You bastard! You mother fuckar!"

Salem's voice echoed through the timeless realm, her anger and frustration reverberating. She unleashed a torrent of curses towards the gods, her words filled with venom and disdain.

The God Of Darkness trembled under her furious gaze, his power momentarily faltering. Salem's defiance had reached its peak as she refused to bow down to the divine beings who had plagued her existence for centuries.

"You. How can this be possible? How can you consume my divinity?!"

The God Of Darkness stammered, his voice trembling with disbelief. Salem's defiance had not only shaken his power but also shattered his perception. As the realization sank in, a flicker of uncertainty danced in his eyes for the first time in his existence, knowing that he had underestimated the strength and determination of a mortal like Salem.

The God Of Light saw that and wanted to help his brother, but

"Please heed my call, O'God of light, and bestow upon me your radiant greatness... My ass!"

Ozpin's frustration with The God Of Light had reached its breaking point. This was also the first time in a century that he cursed at someone.

The God Of Light was taken aback by Ozpin's outburst, realizing the depth of his frustration and anger. He understood that his previous attempts to assist his brother had fallen short, as Ozpin could do the same to him as Salem did to his brother.

"How can mortals consume our divinity?"

The God Of Light pondered this question, realizing that perhaps mortals were capable of more than he had initially believed.

The God Of Darkness looked at Salem and wanted to erase her from existence. He had power over everything that he had created, and Salem was one of them.

"You dare to go against me, Your God! I was the one who gave you the power. Now I will take it back with your life."

The God Of Darkness's anger grew as he realized that Salem had defied him and sought to challenge his authority.

He summoned his dark energy, ready to unleash it upon her and obliterate her from existence. But as he raised his hand, Salem made her move.

With a cunning smile, Salem revealed her own hidden power, a force that rivaled even The God Of Darkness. She knew that if she could outmaneuver him now, she would finally be free from his control forever. She could use the divinity of darkness that she gained from Sullivan, which was the true divinity. Unlike the one The God Of Darkness had used.

"What? That power... How could it be possible for a mere mortal to be able to use that?!"

The God Of Darkness power had gone out into smoke.

"I can only buy you some time. Please escape with your sister and come back when you are strong enough to kill them."

She had to force herself to use it. It might be able to fight against The God Of Darkness. but only sometimes.

She knew that her newfound power was not enough to defeat The God Of Darkness permanently. It was merely a temporary solution to buy him and his sister some time to escape.

"Salem..."

Sullivan didn't think that Salem would be the one to come and help him with Ozpin. And she could bitch slap The God Of Darkness. Even a little was considered an overachievement.

"Now go! and keep your promise!"

Sullivan couldn't help her or do anything. He vowed that he would do whatever it took to keep his promise to Salem. He would find a way to defeat both The God Of Darkness and The God Of Light.

"I'll be back."

Sullivan looked at both The God Of Darkness and The God Of Light with righteous fury. He will be back, as he had promised. The brother god felt that the power that emanated from him was so strong. Even stronger than the Lady Death.
