"I hate you" this words rang in Alexa's head. she was just coming from her fiance Edward's house, and found him being intimate with her best friend, Ella. The word "hate" was supposed to be said by her for the betrayal, but it was the other way around and then she finds out 6  years relationship with Edward, was just revenge and he was just using her to get to her dad, so he can help his dad company, leaving that place heartbroken and shattered, Alexa is faced with another betrayal, her other childhood best friend, Cassandra sent her Personal Assistant to kill her.

Reborn To Find True Love

It was two weeks to Alexa's birthday and her grandfather sent a maid to ccall her to his study, she obeyed and went, her legs was still broken and moved around with clutches, she knew exactly what he wanted to talk to her about, but she just couldn't shake the feelings off that this never happen in her previous life, recently she had been very cautious about everything and how it was in her previous life. She walked into the study and met her grandpa reading a book, she knocked on the already opened door and her grandpa finally noticed her and called her in with a smile on his lips,

" Come sit down my dear," Alexa said and sat on the sit opposite her grandpa's,

"You know my dear your birthday is around the corner and I know you must be very excited?"

" yes I'm, grandpa and I feel that is not the only reason you called me to your study today," Alexa said also smiling,

"Alright, I guess you caught me, I wanted to talk to you about Edward,"

"Ok, what about him," Alexa asked in an annoyed tone, hoping her grandpa would notice it,

"No! I only talked to him, because of our families ties," Alexa said and then crossed her hands,

"Well, that's disappointing, I was planning on betrothing you guys, but I guess that would no longer be possible," Alexa's grandpa said with disappointment filled in his voice, as he bowed his head,	"Grandpa, please don't be like this don't be like this, you know I hate seeing like this and so does your wife, she would literally scold me for making her prince charming sad, do you want your cute granddaughter to get in trouble with your strict and lovely wife, tell me want I can do to make you happy and cheerful again," Alexa said with a lot cuteness as she got up from her seat and went to hug her grandfather, her grandma sneezed in the garden where she was watering some flowers,

" Accept Edward!," Alexa grandpa said eagerly,

"No! anything apart from that," Alexa said immediately,

"ok you can leave, I see you don't care if I am sad, go and tell my wife to come comfort me," Alexa grandpa said looking dejected, he thought him being sad, would make Alexa reconsider and accept Edward, but it was of no use,

"Grandpa, I'm sorry, I know how you always wanted our family to have a connection other than friendship with your best friend's family, but I can't do it, I won't be happy together with Edward and I'm sure you want me to be happy, so please don't be sad. If Edward was someone I liked or had feelings for, I would have happily accepted your proposal, but its not, I'm sorry, please don't be said," Alexa said and soon started sobbing like a kid,

"ok, I won't be sad anymore, so please don't cry, if I you cry I would also cry ," Alexa grandpa said and also started sobbing, they played the sobbing game for a while before they stopped and laughed at each other,

" alright, no more crying," Alexa said and playfully cleaned her grandfather's fake tears, he was a good actor and often behaved overly dramatic, she took after him and it made them inseparable,

"Alright," Alexa grandpa said, they chatted for a while, before Alexa left,

"how I wish she would have gotten married to Edward, they would have made an excellent couple, and it would have made my relationship with the Philips family really stronger, but I can't use my granddaughter make my relationship stronger, she deserves to finds the one for her, not the one I want for her, and loves wins it all, all I have to do is wait for the one she brings and give me blessings, I hope I'm still alive by then," Alexa's grandfather said thoughtfully and then went back to reading his book
