Chapter 360: The Battlefield in Chaos – The Bride Strikes Back

As the heart of Totto Land, Whole Cake Island should have been bustling with life, but now it was engulfed in flames and chaos. 

At the center of it all, atop the Cake Tower, an intense battle raged on! 

"Butter Slide!" 

A beam of light shot out at an unimaginable speed, forcing Charlotte Galette to release butter beneath her feet to accelerate her escape. 

The light flashed, and a series of jelly-like objects exploded from where the beam had landed.

"Franky's Stray Laser Beam!" 

The beam kept going, piercing through the floor. About a second later, the ground suddenly bulged upward before countless chunks of food and debris, nearly melted from the intense impact, erupted like lava. A massive, ten-meter-wide hole, impossibly deep, appeared in the sturdy tower floor! 

Below the cake tower, a nearby building suddenly exploded into flames, clearly caught in the blast by sheer bad luck. 

Only then did the deafening explosion echo through the entire city, shaking the ground for a long time before finally settling. 

"Damn it, is this guy some kind of special 'Pacifista'?" 

Charlotte Galette's guess wasn't exactly right, but to be fair, many of General Franky's weapons were built using technology obtained from Vegapunk's lab. In a way, they did share the same origins as the Marines' Pacifistas. 

"My Devil Fruit power is useless against him!" 

Not just useless—it was like spreading butter on a machine. All it did was make Franky even more lubricated. 

"Clang!" 

The famous sword "White Fish" easily blocked the giant blade in Franky's hands, then swung back in a counterattack, slicing into his metal body. A long, jagged scratch appeared, but— 

"This guy was built specifically to deal with us." 

A tall, slender woman with ghostly pale skin and long, light blue curls tucked under a wide-brimmed hat let out a frustrated puff of smoke. She was known as "Ghost Lady," infamous for her swordsmanship, which caused unbearable pain to anyone struck by it. Just one cut, and the victim would feel like they were in agony. 

Unfortunately, that didn't work on General Franky. 

Pain? What's that? 

Besides, the deep cut Charlotte Amande had just left on Franky's body was already starting to close up, the metal shifting and repairing itself. 

"Wow, I actually prefer a direct fight, but you two are way too dangerous—" 

The towering General Franky gripped his swords with both hands and started slashing wildly! His attacks had no technique, but they were heavy and powerful enough to make up for it. Not to mention, his real weapons weren't even his swords, but— 

"Franky Fireball!" 

"Franky Laser!" 

"Franky—" 

Taking down the fast-moving Charlotte Amande and Charlotte Galette might not have been realistic, but thanks to his Wapometal-enhanced defense, he had no problem keeping them both occupied. 

After all, whether it was the "Butter Power" that could appear anywhere out of thin air or the deadly swordsmanship of the "Ghost Lady," both were serious threats to the rest of the Straw Hat Crew. 

"Body Bloom—Fleur!" 

Suddenly, multiple "Robins" appeared across the battlefield, charging at the enemy with calm smiles. 

At the same time, extra arms sprouted all over the Charlotte family officers, catching them off guard. 

"Thirty Fleur—Clutch!" 

"Back Throw!" 

Crack! Crack! Crack! 

Working together, the clones and the sudden extra limbs twisted enemies into submission using brutal joint locks. In an instant, a large number of weaker officers were sent crashing to the ground. 

Even when stronger opponents managed to slash at her, the "Robins" simply scattered into petals, leaving no real damage. 

It wasn't flashy, nor did it create a huge spectacle, but Robin's takedown efficiency was the highest of them all. More than ten of the Charlotte siblings had already fallen by her hands. 

Of course, stronger enemies required a different approach— 

"Oooohhh!!! I'm a monster—" 

"Sakura—Gigantic Hoof Stamp!" 

After taking a Rumble Ball and entering "Monster Point," Chopper transformed into a massive, 20-meter-tall humanoid reindeer. With toughness similar to an awakened Zoan and overwhelming strength, he was actually overpowering Charlotte Snack! 

One of Big Mom's former top fighters, Snack suddenly recalled a painful memory—facing an opponent who only got stronger the longer the fight dragged on. 

"We'll help you, Brother Snack!" 

As a group of Charlotte family officers rushed in to gang up on Chopper, Usopp—one half of the so-called "Cowardly Duo"—immediately pulled back the string of his massive Black Kabuto slingshot!

"Deadly Move: Green Star Demon!"

A huge mass of terrifying plants, similar to a Venus flytrap, shot out, their snapping jaws and twisting vines wrapping around the enemies. But it wasn't over yet:

"Silent Growth!"

As Usopp slammed the black pouch in his hand onto the ground, the 'Momo Pages' in the handle immediately activated, causing the already massive plants to suddenly grow even larger, becoming towering plants as tall as houses. The giant vines, once like massive columns, now lashed out like whips, causing a massive commotion as Vice Admiral and the regular officers struggled to break free, turning the entire battlefield into chaos.

"Chopper, leave your back to me!"

"Good job, Usopp!"

The terrifying monsters rampaged in all directions, with the giant plants wildly whipping and thrashing. The two of them had taken control of a large section of the battlefield, causing the onlookers to retreat further and further, even considering whether they should leave the area entirely.

"Fish-Man Karate: Gun Wave!"

On the other side, Jinbe grabbed a cup of red tea that was meant for the banquet, holding it like a 'cannonball,' and suddenly hurled it towards the cream-covered Charlotte Opera! Though her cream ability wasn't very offensive, once it covered a living being's surface, it caused the skin to undergo sugarization, leading to a painful burning effect that could dehydrate and harm the victim.

"Don't even think about it!"

With hair shaped like golden-orange flames and a three-blade beard, Charlotte Oven, whose upper body was bare except for a cloak, instantly blocked Jinbe's attack. He endured Jinbe's terrifying water-based strike that could pierce through multiple warships.

"Jinbe, I'll turn you into fish jerky!"

As the user of the "Heat Heat Fruit," Charlotte Oven was naturally a counter to Jinbe. However, despite facing the intense heat and the red glow of molten iron beneath his skin, Jinbe fearlessly met him head-on.

"High Heat Fist!"

"Fish-Man Karate: Shark Scale Fist!"

The two fists, one burning with extreme heat and the other covered in Armament Haki, collided fiercely! There were no fancy moves, but the intense heat and Haki expanded out in all directions, spreading shockwaves of destruction, once again clearing a portion of the battlefield.

The five members of the Vinsmoke family were all at a level between regular officers and senior officers, fighting ruthlessly and sparing no mercy, as they held back over a dozen of the Charlotte family's children.

With Capone Bege's large crew supporting, the battlefield had become a stalemate, with both sides evenly matched!

Of course, not everyone was fighting seriously. For example:

"Look closely, this is my true self!"

While bullets flew past Sanji from close range, Charlotte Brûlée angrily shouted at him, using her "Outlining Gun" to fire. 

"I'm a wicked woman, disappointed, right? I've used this method to deceive many people—"

"And you've been deceiving yourself, little Brûlée."

?! "What the hell, you've really turned traitor too? Brûlée!"

Charlotte Daifuku couldn't watch anymore! We're here fighting for our lives, and you two are over there acting all lovey-dovey! Do you think this is your wedding scene?

"Hmph, I can't let you fall into Straw Hat Crew's hands!"

As Charlotte Daifuku rubbed his hands together, smoke suddenly erupted from his belt, forming a tall, muscular figure, wearing an Arabian-style headscarf and holding a long-handled sword. The lower half of the figure fused with Daifuku's belt.

"Light Demon!"

A Superhuman-type: Vapor Fruit.

His body transformed into an oil lamp, and by rubbing his body, he could summon a 'Light Demon' made of smoke. This Light Demon had independent consciousness, could avoid attacks by turning back into smoke, and fought with a long-handled sword. However, the summoned Light Demon could only move within a certain range, and while it obeyed commands, it wouldn't give them much thought.

"Demon Hunt!"

As soon as the 'Light Demon' appeared, it used its high mobility to charge towards the 'Pure White Merry' ship, raising its large sword high!

"Wait, Brother Daifuku—" Before Brûlée could finish her words, a huge sword aura, over ten meters long and filled with thick smoke, tore through the air. It came crashing down with immense killing intent, showing no mercy. 

"Brûlée!" 

This attack wasn't just aimed at Sanji; it also included Brûlée in its path! Acting purely on instinct, Sanji jumped in front of Brûlée. A powerful surge of Haki gathered in his right leg, flowing like a mighty river. 

Then, Sanji bent his body backward like a massive bow. With the force of this movement, his right leg shot forward at full speed! His legs straightened abruptly, and he kicked the demon's large sword. 

"Disrespectful Kick!" 

Clang! In the next moment, with a loud crash that echoed across the battlefield, the long-handled sword was sent flying, and the 'Lamp Demon' was kicked away by Sanji. 

"How is this possible?" 

This lamp demon, though only one, was as strong as Charlotte Daifuku himself. To be kicked away like that... Unless Daifuku joined forces with the lamp demon, he probably couldn't stop Sanji. 

"Hey, hey, hey, you're even attacking the bride? Could it be—" 

"Is the Straw Hat Crew really here to steal the bride?" 

This was starting to exceed the expectations of the onlookers. Given Big Mom's personality, it wouldn't be impossible for her to take over the family during the wedding, but to attack her own daughter in front of everyone... 

"Is this wedding still going on?" 

"Brother Daifuku, I'll be able to take care of it soon—" 

"Enough, Little Brûlée!" 

Sanji turned and looked at Charlotte Brûlée, who was panicking and at a loss. Instead of being angry at her brother's attack, her first instinct was to beg for another chance! Such a family, such relatives... "If a 'family' only causes you pain, if it makes you live in fear all the time... Then—" 

Sanji knelt on one knee, gently holding the bride's hand as she sat on the ground. 

"You can leave the past behind and find a new family, new people who will accept you!" 

Of course, Sanji's real intention was to find a group of people who would accept him as family, but to Brûlée, it seemed like: *Sobbing*... Sanji-kun... 

"Enough of this!!" 

Surrounded by fierce winds and Inazuma, Nami was furious. We're here fighting for our lives, and you two are over there playing lovey-dovey? What's going on?! Do you really think this is your wedding?—Nami, in her "artillery mage" style, was practically a magnet for the battlefield! 

Arrows and bullets rained down on her. If it weren't for her ability to control the 'Flying White Merry' paper beneath her feet as a shield, she would have been shot to pieces by now. 

"Do you think the next step is a honeymoon? Hurry up and help us, Sanji!" 

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" 

Sanji, looking cool as ever, broke his composure and quickly ran to Nami, acting as a human shield. Brûlée bit her lower lip. 

"Hey, what are you still doing over there?" 

Nami looked at the bride lying on the ground with confusion. She felt that Big Mom's family education wasn't up to par. She was so scared she couldn't move? "Come over here, I'll protect you along with Sanji."

With that, the tearful girl in the wedding dress walked toward the battle, her eyes filled with hope.
