Chapter 37: Hollow Purple

Looking at Loki in front of him, Alex walked toward him without the slightest intention of showing respect.

Seeing this, Loki frowned deeply. He didn't expect a mere Midgardian to be so rude, daring to offend the king of Asgard! He immediately summoned a dagger, intending to teach this insolent Midgardian a lesson, to make him understand the proper respect and hierarchy.

Loki lunged at Alex with a mocking smile. "Pathetic Midgardian, it seems I need to teach you how to kneel before a king."

Just as the dagger was about to strike Alex, Loki smirked, confident that his attack had gone unnoticed. The Midgardian hadn't even reacted, not even attempting to dodge despite the dagger being less than a meter away. This made Loki feel a twinge of boredom.

But suddenly, as the dagger neared its target, Loki's expression froze. He stared in disbelief as the dagger came to an abrupt halt, unable to move even a fraction of an inch forward.

"What kind of power is this?" Loki wondered aloud.

Before he could say more, a powerful repulsive force emanated from Alex, far stronger than being struck by Thor's hammer. Loki was instantly flung backward by the overwhelming force. His body smashed through the surrounding glass walls, shattered metal supports, and finally broke through the base's outermost metal fence before coming to a stop.

"Oh, my back!" Loki groaned, his entire body wracked with pain, struggling to believe that what had just happened was real.

'Is this really a Midgardian? When did they become so powerful?' he thought.

But before he could catch his breath, an equally powerful attraction pulled him back toward the white-haired mortal. The terrifying pull disregarded any resistance; even when Loki tried to anchor himself by stabbing his dagger into the ground, it did nothing to slow his movement.

In no time, he was dragged back to the glass-walled room, back to where Mjolnir lay, and back to face the terrifying human once more.

Grabbing Loki again, Alex grinned, as if he'd thought of something amusing. He tightly grasped one of Loki's legs, using his curse energy and energy manipulation to push his body to its limits. Alex swung Loki back and forth, slamming him into the ground repeatedly until, after dozens of hits, he finally stopped.

When it was over, Loki was left dazed, questioning his entire existence. Alex casually remarked, "No wonder Hulk likes smashing things. It really does feel good!"

Coulson, who had wisely kept his distance during the scuffle, approached once everything had calmed down. Noticing the strange man with horns on his head, he asked Alex curiously, "Mr. Alex, who is he?"

Still savoring the satisfaction of his recent actions, Alex responded nonchalantly, "Loki, son of Odin, second prince of Asgard, and a mischievous child who's a few thousand years old."

"Loki? Isn't that a figure from mythology?" Coulson asked, incredulous.

"To the primitive people from the past, beings who mastered advanced technology and magic would seem god-like. But in reality, they're just aliens, who are superior to them." Alex explained.

Looking at Loki, who had been thoroughly defeated by Alex, Coulson nodded deeply. 'What kind of god is this weak?' he thought.

After the agents took Loki to an interrogation room, Alex didn't concern himself further. He knew Loki would inevitably escape, and these agents stood no chance of containing the god of mischief. But this was exactly what Alex wanted; if Loki didn't escape, the Destroyer armor wouldn't come to Earth, and the Mind Stone would never make its appearance.

Turning his attention to Mjolnir, Alex reached out and gripped its handle, attempting to lift it. But it was clear that he was not deemed worthy. And at this point, Alex's strength was nowhere near Odin's level, so he couldn't simply brute-force through the enchantment Odin had placed on the hammer.

Meanwhile, in the interrogation room, Thor was shocked to see his brother being brought in. He was sure that his cunning brother would never be caught by mere agents, so someone else must have captured him.

He directly asked, "Loki, who defeated you and brought you here?"

Loki, snapping out of his daze from the recent thrashing, looked over at Thor, who was also imprisoned, and replied through gritted teeth, "A damn white-haired Midgardian. He humiliated me, and I will make him pay for it!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Loki disappeared in a flash of magic light.

Hearing Loki's words, Thor immediately thought of Alex and his white hair. The same idea crossed his mind again: 'Could he really be the white-haired mutant they say?'

At that moment, the door to the room opened, and in walked a familiar figure with white hair and round sunglasses. But this time, the usually hidden blue eyes beneath the glasses were visible, filled with an arrogance and emptiness that even Thor had never possessed.

Thor heard the familiar yet unfamiliar white-haired demon speak: "You look so pathetic, Thor."

...

After releasing Thor, Alex settled into a five-star hotel, waiting for the arrival of the Destroyer. During this time, he continuously absorbed energy from two Arc Reactors, steadily increasing his template fusion.

After several days, the system's notifications rang continuously in Alex's ears.

[Energy Point +1]

[Energy Point +1]

[Energy Point +1]

...

After long periods of absorption, the two Arc Reactors had dimmed significantly compared to their original state. They would need to be replaced by Tony Stark soon.

After absorbing for a few more minutes, Alex heard a slightly different system prompt in his ear:

[Energy Point +1]

[Template Fusion: 60%]

[You have unlocked a new skill: Hollow Purple]

[Hollow Purple lv1 (1/100): Combines the Lapse "Blue" and the Reversal "Red" to create an imaginary mass, releasing an energy wave that can slice through space!]

A flood of information poured into Alex's mind, much more dense and complex than the skills he had acquired before, filled with intricate knowledge of curse energy manipulation. Once he had digested all the information, Alex had fully mastered the use of Hollow Purple and could release it with 100% success rate.

At that moment, a bright white light suddenly lit up the distant sky, stretching from earth to the heavens.

Alex grinned, looking in the direction of the light. The timing was perfect; that light should be the Warriors Three using the Bifrost to search for Thor. The Destroyer should be arriving soon, too! He wondered if the Destroyer armor, made of Uru metal, could withstand the power of Hollow Purple.

Leaping out of the hotel window, Alex walked through the air, flying at high speed toward the location of the white light.
