Chapter 91: Fantastic Four

Alex continued to absorb energy from his surroundings, becoming a terrifying vortex that turned the area within a 20-meter radius into a vacuum devoid of energy. Even molecular motion nearly came to a halt, and the surrounding temperature dropped rapidly, approaching absolute zero.

Everything around them began to shatter from the extreme cold, yet two figures remained standing amidst the freezing environment.

One of them was Alex, the creator of this chaos. He could now control energy flow, even defying the laws of physics by forcing energy to move from low to high concentrations, leaving him unaffected.

The other figure was the Red Hulk. Unlike Alex, the Red Hulk barely held on, relying on the vast energy within his body. However, as time passed, the energy drained rapidly, and the dozens of arc reactors embedded in his body began to dim.

System notifications kept ringing in Alex's mind:

[Energy Points +1]

[Energy Points +1]

[Energy Points +1]

Meanwhile, the Red Hulk's muscles began to wither, and the seemingly limitless energy within him quickly depleted. In just a matter of seconds, his energy reserves were completely exhausted. His body, once ablaze with flames, now cooled down, matching the absolute zero temperature of the environment.

Satisfied with the immense power of his energy absorption, Alex smiled. He took a step and appeared in the sky above a military base. Behind him, the Red Hulk's body disintegrated into dust, blown away by the wind over the ruins.

...

Hovering above the military base, Alex used his enhanced perception to locate Stryker and his team.

Through his heightened senses, Alex saw Stryker and his men entering a vortex-like portal. From the portal, Alex could sense a familiar presence—an alternate universe, one he had only become aware of after reaching Level 4 with his teleportation ability.

Clearly, Stryker was attempting to flee to a parallel universe to escape Alex's wrath. In the past, this might have worked, but now Alex could travel across parallel universes. No matter where Stryker ran, not even another universe could save him from his fate.

With a flicker of his white wings, Alex arrived at a space-shielded room. A flash of purple light appeared in his hand as he formed a small, imaginary dagger. With a few swift movements, he shattered the room's energy shield effortlessly, destroying the Adamantium walls behind it as well.

The destruction of the Adamantium walls caught the attention of the Fantastic Four, but they remained calm, confident that the interior shield would protect them.

Unlike the previous one, this shield operated on the same principle as a molecular disintegration laser, capable of disintegrating anything that came near it. Although the energy consumption was immense, requiring an arc reactor every three seconds, they believed it was a worthy cost to buy time for their escape.

At this moment, Alex finally stood face to face with the man who had been hunting him since his arrival in this world—Colonel Stryker.

Stryker stared at the white-haired mutant with burning hatred. Because of this man, all of Stryker's efforts to suppress mutants had been undone. The government, fearing Alex's power, had been forced to enact laws that liberated mutants, wiping out everything Stryker had worked for.

And because of Alex, Stryker's influence in the government had diminished. His repeated failures had eroded the trust of his superiors, and if not for the funding from a mysterious organization, his research would have been shut down long ago.

Stryker gritted his teeth and said, "Cursed Mutant, just wait. The next time we meet will be the day you die!"

Alex responded with a light chuckle and ignored him.

Mr. Fantastic looked at Alex with a serious expression and said, "Alex, you're an unstable force. Your power has no limit, and you pose a threat to the multiverse. The next time we meet, I will erase you."

Alex showed no reaction to Mr. Fantastic's declaration. Instead, he asked curiously, "Are you sure you can escape?"

Mr. Fantastic smiled confidently. "With your current abilities, crossing between parallel universes is impossible. Even if you eventually gain that power, how will you find us in the vast multiverse?"

His confidence stemmed from his vast intelligence, which restored the self-assurance that Alex had once shattered.

Mr. Fantastic added, "We will meet again."

With that, he and Stryker's team stepped into the device that would transport them to another universe, disappearing from sight. At the same moment, the external energy shield vanished.

Watching them vanish, Alex remained calm. He used his power to obliterate everything within a kilometer radius, destroying the few remaining devices designed to interfere with space. Then, he opened a portal of his own. Smiling at the disbelieving Mr. Fantastic, Alex said, "Dr. Reed Richards, we meet again."

"You!"

Mr. Fantastic was stunned. With all his intelligence, he couldn't understand how Alex had crossed into this universe so easily or how he'd tracked them down.

Though confused, Reed knew there were more pressing matters. He shouted to his teammates, who were waiting for him in the distance, "Run!"

The three figures were the remaining members of the Fantastic Four. Reed had foreseen his potential defeat and sent them to another universe, hoping to keep them safe from Alex.

But to his horror, as soon as he warned them, Reed realized they had already disappeared.

Trembling, he turned to see Alex standing there with his three teammates in tow. They were frantically trying to use their powers to escape from the twisted energy field surrounding them, but their abilities, so formidable against ordinary foes, were insignificant against Alex.

Alex grabbed the Invisible Woman by the throat and lifted her effortlessly, ignoring the shouts of anger from the Human Torch and The Thing. He smiled warmly at Reed Richards and said, "I believe, Dr. Richards, that the Fantastic Four pose a threat to the multiverse as well. Therefore, I sentence you all to death."

Massive energy surged into the Invisible Woman's body, spreading like veins from her neck to her entire form.

"No!" Reed screamed in despair, watching as the Invisible Woman exploded like a bomb, flames engulfing the Human Torch and the Thing.

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Reed, having lost his girlfriend and closest friends, completely lost control. He knew Alex wouldn't have died in the blast.

Sure enough, moments later, Alex stepped out of the raging flames, completely unscathed.

He looked at the broken Reed Richards and sneered, "You won't get the chance."

Countless spatial slashes engulfed Reed, and his elastic body, immune to most physical attacks, was torn apart, reduced to a mass of twisted, string-like remains.

After dealing with Mr. Fantastic, Alex turned his gaze toward Stryker and his remaining men hiding in the distance. He smiled and said, "Colonel Stryker, we meet again. Are you ready?"
