Lin Fei once again cast her gaze toward the black card lying on the desk. According to Andrew, all one needed to do was to infuse their own aura, replacing the one inside, to assume the identity of the card's previous owner and sever both parties' entanglements.

This statement obviously had many loopholes. Imagine if anyone could simply do that: kill a member of the Tower of Glory, replace the aura, and then they would not be chased, but they also wouldn't heed any orders. If that were the case, wouldn't the entire organization exist in name only?

Either there was an unknown force that made the new substitute either actively or passively wait for orders, or the statement itself was a trap.
