Chapter Forty-Six: The Outstanding People and Spiritual Land of Florida

Alice Wade had never felt happy in such a family.

Her overly strict mother made her feel suffocated, and the things her stepfather did made her want to kill the beast, but his burly physique deterred her from taking action.

Years of accumulated dissatisfaction and repression had driven Alice mad. She obsessively did everything her mother forbade, recklessly giving herself to any man who she found decent-looking, solely to let her stepfather know that she would even pleasure a homeless man on the streets rather than give that beast an opportunity.

Her mother forbade her from getting tattoos, so she painted her face and tattooed butterflies on her private parts.

Her mother didn't want her associating with unsavory characters, so she crazily changed boyfriends.
