Chapter 47: A Woman Unvirtuous, With Intention to Throw Punches

Lou Huiying rested the baseball bat on her shoulder and touched the slender red mark on her neck, clicking her tongue.

"Still pretty painful."

It was the first time she felt pain again after a long while since she donned that headpiece.

Having dealt with Duan Kaiping, Lou Huiying felt a sense of accomplishment and was about to return to the restaurant when she saw a bespectacled youth walking towards her at a leisurely pace not far away.

For some reason, even though the youth appeared quite ordinary and not at all special, Lou Huiying inexplicably felt a tingling sensation on her scalp and her footsteps involuntarily halted.

She just watched as the youth reached her, pushed his glasses up on the bridge of his nose—his eyes obscured by the glare of the afternoon sun—but she knew he was looking at her.

"Kid, did you do what just happened?"

Lou Huiying narrowed her eyes and asked.

Xue Jing nodded and smiled, "Yes, it was me."
