Chapter 845: Secret Room

Lancelot and his companions found the hidden staircase behind the bar and ascended to the second floor of the inn. The walls on both sides of the corridor were covered in sword marks and bloodstains. In the open guest rooms lay shattered corpses, many of whom had been enjoying carnal pleasures before being killed. Lancelot muttered to himself, wondering why this service wasn't offered when he stayed here before.

At the end of the corridor, they found a heavy door adorned with complex patterns. Lancelot pushed it, discovering it was tightly locked. However, the brass keyhole below the handle provided enough of a hint. He took out the key he had found earlier on the maid's corpse, inserted it into the keyhole, and with a soft click, the door opened effortlessly.
