The existence and responsibilities of the Blue Star Global United Defense Committee were actually meant to clean up the mess left by the great war of the Three Realms, which took place thirty years ago.

At the time, eager to stabilize the adverse situation, the Blue Star Civilization overused nuclear and space-based weapons. Although it did not trigger a nuclear winter apocalypse, it still caused irreparable severe consequences to the planet's surface and its natural ecological environment.
