Chapter 77: The Dragon in the Magma

Star Dragon Ridge outpost, tavern.

The sudden disappearance of the Undead had cooled down the normally bustling tavern.

Old Pete poured himself a drink and turned his gaze to the others.

Like locusts sweeping through, the Undead around the area had made it very safe, so other than choosing two people to patrol and keep watch at night, the rest were stationed here.

He looked at Miss Miko, who was studying a Magic Potion formula at the table, seemingly undistracted by anything, and everyone knew how highly the higher-ups valued her; they were almost at her beck and call.

Lian had long captured the attention of the men present, though Lord Lind hadn't said anything. Yet when Lian clung persistently to Lord Lind, everyone understood to keep their distance from her.

Aluna Momo either prayed or daydreamed, while actually everyone, including Old Pete, couldn't understand why they kept this elder, who did nothing but eat and mutter, at the Star Dragon Ridge outpost.
