Land of Beasts, the scorching heat woke Ska.
He slowly opened his eyes and couldn't help but moisten his dry lips with his tongue as he hadn't drank water for several days, leaving him in a poor condition.
The temperature inside the tent soared from the scorching sunlight, feeling like a pot stewing meat and, frustratingly, the air was dry and parched.
But he still remembered his mission, so he got up, packed up, and prepared to continue his journey.
When he stood up, he groaned as a ray of sunlight shone through the seams of the tent like a golden, glittering stick hitting his head, making him dizzy.
He reached for the water bottle in his bag, opened the cap, and tried to pour some into his mouth, but no water came out. He shook the water bottle hard twice and only managed to squeeze out a few drops of bitter, salty water that landed on his lips, alleviating the dryness a bit, but the salt penetrated his tongue, making him feel even thirstier.
