Returning to the Black Knight Underground Graveyard.
The cleanup of the battlefield behind him no longer interested Lind; his attention was fully captured by the scroll that the "Giant," Sekapus, had willingly handed over.
When he first saw it, Lind felt as if the scroll was somehow fated for him.
He locked himself in his room, making sure that even if something truly happened, it would not emit a burst of golden light or black mist that could attract outside attention, and then he sat down in a chair and unfurled the scroll.
The faint luminescence was like that of rotting vegetation. Lind could feel an intense loathing emanating from the scroll, the "Sheepskin Scroll's" abhorrence for the words written upon it.
This thing was a piece of Divine Skin.
He had encountered enough deities by now, whether weak or strong, their existence had already transcended the boundaries of humanity from the inside out.
