Chapter 46 Karyx's Body (1)

Another towering peak, thousands of kilometers high, rose from the ground, piercing the sky as if to connect the heavens and the earth. The accumulated snow on the summit of the mountain sparkled with a cold silver light under the sun.

And here was the highest peak of the Ancytica Mountains—reverently known as the "King of the Snowy Mountains" by the Scania People, Terry Peak.

"Whoosh—"

The cold wind whistled through the valley with a piercing screech.

In those undulating mountains that were perennially covered with snow, the wild wind howled and snow swirled, as if intending to bury the whole world in pure white and icy cold.

Suddenly, scalding steam surged forth, and dark red flames rampaged through the air, tearing a ghastly spatial rift at the foot of the mountain.

The snow covering the mountain was melted by this sudden high temperature, first turning into flowing meltwater, then into white smoke.
