_______

Unfortunately, trying to uncover the mastermind behind the plot with such limited information seemed like a fool's errand. All Tony could do was analyze the available clues to narrow down the suspects. Despite the video's limited content, it did reveal a critical piece of information: the Jericho missile.

The video showed the Jericho missile being launched in a desert. Connecting these two elements, Tony immediately thought of an event Rhodes had recently reminded him of—a demonstration scheduled in Afghanistan in half a month. The general had specifically requested Tony's presence to demonstrate the missile, and the video matched this scenario perfectly. With Rhodes and the military personnel present, it all fit.

"It's definitely that demonstration," Tony thought with certainty. Knowing the time and place of the attempted assassination transformed Tony from a passive target into an active player.

"Whoever is behind this, I'll give you a surprise," Tony thought with a cold smile. He took the video from another universe as a serious warning. With half a month's time, Tony could complete the Iron Man armor, which would be his big surprise for the mastermind.

Nick Fury's expression also turned grave. The latest video indicated an assassination attempt on Tony Stark. SHIELD typically didn't intervene in assassination plots, but Tony was no ordinary target. As a key figure in the military-industrial complex and the son of SHIELD's co-founder, Howard Stark, Tony's potential death would cause a significant upheaval.

"Barton!" Fury called out to one of his trusted agents.

"Sir, what's the order?" Barton stood at attention before Fury. Noticing the screen in front of Fury, Barton guessed the situation. "Is this about Stark's assassination?"

Indeed, Fury had discovered that Barton could see the screen, and they both calmly accepted this fact. Barton, having seen the spoilers about Stark, made an accurate guess.

"Stark can't be harmed, especially not by terrorists!" Fury confirmed. "Stark is negotiating a deal for the Jericho missile with the military. If the video's events are true, it will happen soon."

"I'll handle it," Barton affirmed.

"There's something else you should know," Fury added, his tone serious. "Natasha reported that Stark is developing an Iron Man suit, and he's already created the power source."

Barton's expression grew serious. Stark developing an Iron Man suit implied that the video spoilers might be true. Though there was no definitive proof yet, the video had SHIELD's full attention.

"Understood, sir!" Barton responded firmly.

### DC Extended Universe

"Someone's trying to kill Iron Man?" Clark Kent's eyebrows furrowed. The mysterious screen had appeared for several days, but the expected communication from his fellow Kryptonians had yet to occur. Despite extensive investigation, Clark found no clues. He even used his super hearing to scan the entire Earth but detected no other alien presence.

If he was the only alien on Earth, who projected this screen to him? Earth lacked the technology for such a feat, and no other aliens were present. Despite his confusion, Clark took the screen's spoilers seriously. He didn't know Iron Man, but the repeated videos suggested Iron Man's significance.

Clark, inherently kind-hearted, decided to save Iron Man if the events in the video would indeed happen. The challenge was that the videos provided no details about Iron Man's identity, leaving Clark to investigate on his own.

This task was daunting because, besides the alias "Iron Man," Clark knew nothing about him. If Iron Man was well-known, the search might be easier. However, if Iron Man lacked fame, Clark's task would be significantly more challenging.
