The deafening sounds of gunfire and explosions filled the air, transforming the temporary base into a chaotic battlefield enveloped in flames and smoke. The scene was pure bedlam, but the chaos didn't last long.

Tony's Iron Man suit was essentially invincible. Despite the Ten Rings' formidable firepower, which had previously decimated Rhodes' military convoy, they were no match for Tony's armored suit. In a short span, Tony decimated their forces, leaving only a few survivors writhing in agony on the ground.

When Rhodes and his team arrived, they found themselves redundant. Tony, nonchalantly perched on an overturned missile launcher, addressed Rhodes, "Roddy, these guys are all yours. I have one request..."

"Don't worry," Rhodes interrupted earnestly, "I'll find out who's behind this."

"No, I want to know where they're keeping Yinsen," Tony corrected. "These guys captured him. I should've realized it sooner."

Before the attack, Tony had no idea of the connection between Yinsen's kidnapping and his own ambush. Now, seeing the attackers up close, he recognized some of them from the "professional blacksmith" video. His brilliant mind quickly pieced together that the same group responsible for his assassination attempt had also kidnapped Yinsen.

Tony marveled at the thought. If the same group that tried to kill him had also captured Yinsen, it meant he survived the initial attack. Somehow, he was taken alive and imprisoned with Yinsen, just as the video had shown.

"Do you really think that's the case?" Rhodes asked, seeking confirmation.

Rhodes, initially skeptical of the screen's predictions and Tony's parallel universe theory, found the accuracy of the assassination attempt convincing. He now took the predictions more seriously and was immediately concerned about Yinsen's situation.

"When have I ever been wrong?" Tony shrugged. "Find him and let me know. I'm not leaving him behind."

"This is my job," Rhodes said, shaking his head. "You should focus on your own safety."

Considering Tony's status and the impact of the assassination attempt, Rhodes knew this incident would create waves, especially with the introduction of the revolutionary Iron Man suit. Tony would have his hands full.

Just as Rhodes anticipated, news of Tony's encounter in Afghanistan sparked a massive uproar across New York and the United States.

"Breaking News: Billionaire Tony Stark was attacked by unknown armed forces in Afghanistan."

"From the devastation on-site, it's clear how harrowing the attack was."

"It's a miracle that Tony Stark survived!"

"Who orchestrated the attack on Tony Stark? We await answers from the military and relevant authorities."

The media frenzy was relentless. Every news outlet, whether TV, newspapers, or online platforms, buzzed with reports of Tony's attack. Although the military and Stark Industries hadn't released an official statement, preventing details about the Iron Man suit from leaking, the incident was still monumental, igniting public discourse.

In a luxurious office, Obadiah Stane's reaction was far more intense. He nearly overturned his desk in a fit of rage. He had been anxious when he couldn't reach Raza, fearing the worst. Now, the catastrophic failure of the Ten Rings was undeniable.

Stane was bewildered. He had full confidence in Raza's group, whom he had armed and funded with Stark Industries weapons. He believed they were more than capable of handling the military and eliminating Stark. This should have been a guaranteed success, but they had failed miserably.

Seething with frustration, Obadiah quickly regained his composure and began making calls to cover his tracks. If the Ten Rings had botched their mission, he needed to ensure they couldn't implicate him. He couldn't afford to be dragged down by their failure.
