Chapter 1: A New Life

Chapter 1: A New Life

Soma was an ordinary high school student. Every morning, he went to school, attended classes, and spent time with his friends. His life was typical, uneventful, and filled with the usual concerns of a teenager. Homework, exams, and occasional outings with friends comprised his daily routine. However, one day, his life changed completely. On his way home from school, a sudden accident claimed his life. It was a moment of sheer disbelief and shock. One moment he was crossing the street, and the next, everything went black.

When Soma opened his eyes, he found himself surrounded by a bright light. It was unlike anything he had ever seen—warm, enveloping, and strangely comforting. In front of him stood a mighty god, radiant and imposing. "Soma," said the god, his voice echoing in the vastness of the light, "I am granting you three wishes. In a new world, in Fairy Tail! A new life awaits you."

Soma couldn't believe what he was hearing. "I can't believe it! Am I being isekai'd? Haha, this is everyone's dream! And in one of my favorite anime worlds, Fairy Tail, no less!" His mind raced with possibilities, the excitement bubbling up inside him.

The god waited patiently as Soma gathered his thoughts. "My first wish," he said, after a moment's contemplation, "is to have immunity to poison and curses." In a world filled with magic, danger was omnipresent, and having a safeguard against some of the deadliest threats seemed wise.

The god nodded solemnly. "I will grant this wish. Poisons and curses will no longer harm you."

Soma breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, good, now I don't have to worry about dying suddenly."

"My second wish," Soma continued, his mind already on the next crucial advantage, "is to have nearly limitless mana." In a world full of wizards, the biggest problem is mana, and I think I've solved it.

The god raised an eyebrow, impressed by Soma's foresight. "Hmm, very wise."

Soma thought carefully about his final wish. "My final wish," he said decisively, "is to have the Dragon Slayer Magic of Ice, and Water." He knew that this unique combination would set him apart and give him a versatile set of abilities. The god nodded once more.

"I will make your body compatible with this, and you will receive training from the Ice-Water Dragon before you travel to the future with Natsu."

Soma's eyes widened with excitement. "Oh, this is even better than I imagined!"

"Now," said the god, "a new life in the Fairy Tail universe awaits you... Soma..." With that, everything went white, and Soma felt a rush of energy as he was transported to his new life.

When he opened his eyes once more, he found himself in a completely different world... a forest. The air was crisp and fresh, filled with the scent of pine and earth. Birds chirped in the distance, and the sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground.

I checked my body... I wasn't a baby, I was about four years old, I think? He looked at his hands and legs, relieved to find himself in a relatively grown form. "Huh, I expected to arrive as a baby, but coming as a child is better."

"Finally awake, child..." A mighty, deep, and intimidating voice resonated from behind him. Soma turned around slowly, his heart pounding in his chest. When I turned around, I saw what I expected... a dragon...

The dragon was a majestic sight, its scales shimmering in shades of blue and white. It was sky blue, and just looking at it made Soma shiver. It was incredibly powerful, and ı couldn't help but admire it.

Soma swallowed hard, gathering his courage. "Umm, who are you?"

The dragon smiled, a surprising and somewhat comforting gesture for such a fearsome creature. "Heh, I am Leviatus, the King of Water and Ice Dragons! I am your new guardian and caretaker. I will teach you how to survive and train you to your limits so that you can become as strong as me. In a way, I am your father... Yes, you can call me dad, child!"

Soma could feel stars forming in his eyes. This was so cool and legendary! "YES, LEVIATUS... I MEAN, DAD! But... why am I here?"

Leviatus let out a deep, rumbling laugh. "Oh, you don't remember... I guess you hit your head pretty hard. I saw you running this way, crying... There's a village behind you... or rather, there was... It was destroyed by bandits, I think. You fell and hit your head while running here. You've been asleep for a day, haha."

Soma nodded slowly, piecing together the fragments of his memory. "Oh... I guess that happened. Yeah, I don't remember anything. So what do we do now?"

Leviatus smiled, his sharp teeth gleaming in the sunlight. "I will train you to your limit and teach you my techniques. Are you ready?"

Soma clenched his fists, determination burning in his eyes. "I'M READY!"

During his time with Leviatus, Soma underwent rigorous training. Every day was a test of endurance, strength, and willpower. Leviatus was a harsh but fair teacher, pushing Soma to his limits and beyond. They would start at dawn, with intense physical training to build Soma's stamina and resilience. Running through the dense forest, climbing trees, and swimming in icy rivers were just the beginning.

After the physical training, Leviatus would teach Soma the intricacies of Dragon Slayer Magic. Soma learned to harness the elemental powers of ice and water, shaping them into devastating attacks and impenetrable defenses. Leviatus would often demonstrate his own mastery, creating massive ice sculptures and conjuring powerful water torrents with ease.

One of the most challenging aspects of Soma's training was learning to control the balance between the two elements. Ice was rigid and unyielding, while water was fluid and adaptable. Leviatus taught Soma to switch between the two seamlessly, using ice to block an attack and water to counterattack in the same breath.

In addition to his elemental training, Leviatus also imparted valuable life lessons to Soma. The dragon would often speak of the importance of understanding one's strengths and weaknesses, and the value of perseverance and determination. Soma took these lessons to heart, knowing that they would be crucial in his future adventures.

There were times when Soma felt like giving up, especially during the harsh winter months when the training sessions seemed particularly brutal. But Leviatus's unwavering belief in Soma's potential kept him going. The dragon would often remind him of the importance of their mission and the great destiny that awaited him in the future.

As the years passed, Soma's skills grew exponentially. He became adept at using his Dragon Slayer Magic in combat, creating intricate ice structures and manipulating water with precision. He also developed a keen sense of awareness and agility, allowing him to react quickly in battle. Leviatus would often spar with Soma, pushing him to improve and refine his techniques.

One of Soma's favorite training exercises involved creating ice sculptures of various animals and then using his water magic to bring them to life. These animated ice creatures would then engage Soma in mock battles, helping him hone his combat skills in a fun and creative way.

Throughout his training, Soma also made a conscious effort to learn about the world around him. Leviatus would often tell him stories about the different regions and cultures of Earth Land, and Soma would listen intently, eager to learn as much as he could. He also practiced reading and writing in the local language, knowing that these skills would be essential in his future adventures.

By the time he reached the age of ten, Soma had become a formidable warrior. His body was lean and muscular, a testament to the years of intense training. His mastery of Ice and Water Dragon Slayer Magic was unparalleled, and he could switch between the two elements with ease. Leviatus was proud of Soma's progress, and he knew that the young warrior was ready to face the challenges that lay ahead.

Leviatus placed a reassuring paw on Soma's shoulder. "You have grown strong, my child. Remember the lessons you have learned and use your powers wisely. The world of Earth-land is vast and filled with both wonders and dangers. Trust in yourself and never forget that you carry the legacy of the Dragon Slayers."

Soma nodded, his eyes shining with determination. "Thank you, Dad. I will make you proud."

Six years later...

I opened my eyes... I was in an unfamiliar place... This didn't look like where I lived with my dad, and civilization had begun... I think I traveled to the future. Oh, so that happened. My memory is fuzzy, which shows. I can't remember much, and my head is splitting!

I was on a mountain, and I could see a city below. The city looked very familiar... Is that... Magnolia? I came to exactly where I wanted to be!

"Haha, Fairy Tail, here I come!"
