Five months passed quickly. Every day, Ezequiel spent 10 hours cultivating at fifty times the normal speed. This cost him 5 billion Faith Points a day, but he wasn't concerned—he had no other expenses, and the results were worth it.
By the end of the five months, Ezequiel had reached the 3rd stage of the Demi-God Realm. However, he began to notice his cultivation slowing down. His accelerated progress had caused more noticeable changes in his body, making him feel more in tune with everything around him, almost as if he could interact with reality itself.
Marie had also advanced to the 3rd stage of the Demi-God Realm. She had even fewer worries since she still had the 1,000 Faith Liquid she received from the Devil Slayer Bureau, 200 of which Ezequiel kept for safekeeping—equivalent to 200 trillion Faith Points.
But Ezequiel didn't really need them. Toward the end of the five months, he was earning 10 billion Faith Points a day due to the increase in cultivation level his Angels had. Even after spending 5 billion on cultivation, he was still able to build up a significant emergency fund.
When he wasn't cultivating, Ezequiel trained, talked with Marie, or watched shows on his phone. Some gods had started entertainment companies in the Divine Realm, so there was always something to watch. The path of godhood wasn't made for everyone.
Today, Ezequiel returned to his lower realm. With his enhanced consciousness, he felt like he could manage another 20 Low-Worlds with ease. He had 50 times the soul quality of a typical 3rd stage Demi-God, so his real limit was probably around 50 worlds, but he would have to wait until he actually controlled such a large number of worlds to find out.
Even without fully using his power, his heightened consciousness allowed him to think faster and observe more things within his territory at the same time.
Ezequiel saw all the changes that had occurred in the last few months. Majestic buildings of white stone, adorned with beautiful ornaments, had been constructed near the mountain where the summoning platform stood. These were the homes of the Angels—beautiful, but overshadowed by one building at the top of the mountain, now called God's Peak.
This was a giant church made entirely of gold and white marble, towering 100 meters high. In its center stood a massive, faceless golden statue of Ezequiel. This was where the Angels worshipped him daily. The church also had a special effect, increasing the amount of Faith Points gathered inside by 20%. It was a special building blueprint that was also contained inside the Angels bloodline heritage, just like the planet modification.
But Ezequiel wasn't here to admire the view. He was checking his forces. Today, the 1,300th Angel had broken through to the Sea Expansion Realm.
This realm had four stages: Liquid Spiritual Energy, Energy River, Energy Lake, and Energy Sea. The main goal was to increase the amount of spiritual energy after liquefying it upon entering the realm.
Thanatos had already reached the Energy River stage, meaning his Dantian held as much liquid Spiritual Energy as a river.
Though the river wasn't the same size for everyone. Angels for example might have a river the size of Nile, whilst low-level species had a river that seemed more like a tiny stream compared to Thanatos'.
Ezequiel's forces also included 2,500 Angels in the Foundation Establishment Realm and a few in the Energy Refinement. He had also summoned 40 Archangels, more than 10 of whom were in the Sea Expansion Realm. The oldest Archangel, Elise, was close to the Energy River stage, as they cultivated faster due to their higher talent.
Today, Ezequiel was finally ready to have his Angels conquer new worlds. With their strength, no Low-World could stand against them. Even without realm-crossing combat power, no other world could boast 1,300 Sea Expansion Realm cultivators.
This was another reason Ezequiel set his sights on new worlds. If more Angels advanced to the Sea Expansion Realm, the concentration of energy would thin out, eventually hindering further cultivation. High-level beings like them were simply too powerful for low-level planets.
The main challenge in conquering another world was that Sea Expansion Realm cultivators couldn't leave their planet yet. While his Angels could survive in space, finding another planet would take too long. That's why a special item existed: the Void-Anchor.
This item, created using Faith Points, was expensive but essential. Its only purpose was to search for other worlds and connect them to the planet it was cast from.
For 20 billion Faith Points, Ezequiel could create an anchor specifically for searching low worlds. He could spend just 1 billion, but a cheaper anchor had limitations, like slower search speed. Most importantly, it risked connecting to a Mid-level World, which could spell disaster for Ezequiel since he wasn't yet able to fight Nascent Soul Realm experts or even Golden Core ones.
Ezequiel had cast the Void-Anchor a few days ago, and today it finally found its target.
The planet was about five star systems away.
In each galaxy, there were around ten thousand low-level planets with spiritual energy and a few hundred Mid-level planets. With one in a thousand stars having a low-level planet orbiting it, this world was relatively close.
As soon as the two worlds were connected, a massive portal opened in the center of the northern continent, where temperatures often reached 100 degrees Celsius.
The moment the portal appeared, one billion Faith Points were deducted from Ezequiel's savings. The Void-Anchor connected the two planets with a thin line of space-attributed spirit energy. This line allowed Ezequiel to open a portal between the two planets, but keeping it open would cost him a billion Faith Points a day. He could theoretically open and close it at will, but whenever two planets connected for the first time, the portal opened automatically.
This was to prevent someone from backing out after connecting with a strong Mid-level World they couldn't defeat. After all, the other planet would usually be just as interested in theirs.
‚I hope I don't meet any planets that are backed by Mid-Level Worlds. Luckily the probability isn't that high as most of them don't care about Low-Level worlds due to their pitiful density of spiritual energy.'
As soon as the portal opened, Ezequiel gave commands to the Archangels.
"You know the plan. Take half of the Angels and enter the other side. Kill any enemies in your path without mercy and secure the first territory so that my consciousness can reach the other planet. Once that's done, we'll discuss our next steps."
