Meeting youm

Chapter 1

My name is Ren I live a typical life like any other person went to school made some friends that felt like we would be together forever and all that then graduated got a part time job went to university to further study biology to pursue a career in biology. The organization I work for is called super evolution it hopes to help humanity evolve in to a true predator with out the need for weapons such as modern firearm. I Got a job at the research institute of super evolution to integrate the regeneration powers of a starfish while there was some minor success the outcome was rather disgusting.

In one of the experiments I saw a young man that is rather good looking turn into a disgusting mess of flesh that could regrow limbs a number of times before running out of energy and dying to lack of energy to close the wounds we made. All of my research was top grade and could change the human race for the better, think of all the possibilities like free of injury wounds that are fatal like gun shot wound could heal by themselves. Sadly all of our research is illegal so the head of the research institute ordered us to kidnap the test subject I eventually find out but it was to late which lead me to my current predicament. "damn it why did I have to pick a guy that has a gun while being drunk."

Bang the man shoots again "you have three seconds to come out I am a police officer and you clearly just tried to kidnap me." I want to come out but my legs are frozen from fear so I shout at him "I can't move how do I know you wont shoot me." A thousand thoughts run through my head thinking of my current situation "I can give you information about my group so please don't shoot me."

I give him time to think so I can further think this plan I am making in my head "how do I know you do not have any weapons on you to attack me when I come to arrest you." I think of something to ease this guys nerves "what if I throw out everything I have on me and lie down on my stomach so I can't resist." He seems to be thinking about it "ok but lie down slowly and come out so I can see your every move." I walk out slowly then empty my pockets, then I go and lie down on the ground

I hear footsteps and panic but think this is for the best as I always thought that my bad luck would one day catch up with me so all I can think about now is to save myself as not to get killed by super evolution to silence me so they can continue those absurd experiments on humans but that will no longer be my problem if I can testify against them with witness protection.

As I am heading in to the police station in the police car, while thinking of how to not sound like a crazy person when I confess of my crimes and the illegal experiments done by super evolution. "agh this is literally the worse day ever" I complain loudly so the police officer hears me. "be quiet" he yells at me I then shrug my shoulders and say nothing as I look out the windows I notice my head is buzzing

"wait officer please let me confess now in case any thing happens to me" I ask him worrying about my safety he looks at me strangely and nods "sure just let me record you hold on for a second" he the open the glove box of the police car.

He then looks at me and then motions for me to speak while holding a voice recording device. "hello to those that will hear this recording my find my confession to be nothing more than a crazy person rambling but every thing you will hear is true so where do I start."

I pause thinking of where to start "lets start at the beginning such as my identity I am a middle rank researcher and the company I am working for is called super evolution I am not sure if the whole company is dirty or just the faction I am part is. I was part of illegal experiments on humans to increase human healing powers such as getting a small cut can that can take days to heal in a couple hours or a day." I feel myself getting dizzy and feeling nausea

"I feel like I am about to faint so the kidnapping was order by high rank officials of the company we put the in a warehouse a few minutes away from the company's headquarters" I start to breathe heavily I stretch my arm to wipe my nose only to see blood on my arm I then spit blood on the officer's arm holding the recording device

The police officer looks back and is shocked to seen me with blood leaking out of my orifices and pores I shout at him "stop it's the virus the company injects into all researchers working on illegal experiments remember don't trust the company please save the people at the warehouse and stop all the experiments going on"

I start to breathe weakly and slowly close my eyes due to blood loss while hearing the officer's speaking to me to hold on my last thought is of how ruthless the company is just because I didn't show up to hand over the next victim. As I slowly feel my body failing me I look back and think I should have spent more time with my family and not have got into any of the things I should not have worked for some shady company like super evolution.

At my last moment it feels like time has stopped and I feel a tugging force pulling me I try and resist but nothing works so I resign myself to fate and see where this pulling force leads towards.

It feels like days have gone by as my sense of time has practically become non-existent as all I can see around me is darkness I feel like I will go insane. "wow I never would have thought that I would find such a fresh soul I am so lucky" I hear a voice and think to myself that I have finally gone crazy.

I then hear laughter as if the voice is mocking me for my thoughts "man I haven't laughed like that in a while to think a soul can hold its self this long I am really lucky hey kid, nod if you understand" I nod my head. This guy is weird although he is my hallucination he looks offended

"listen here brat I am the god of space Youm and I am going to make you my apostle in the new world the gods like myself have discovered so be grateful." I look shocked and think that I am really crazy from being alone so I try and open my mouth to speak but then the scenery changes from darkness to a dark red world beneath my feet

"little brat it seems you still don't believe me none the less I will tell you the terms of the apostles duty and then you can decide. So what you must do is to grow strong and create your own space to me kind of like a pocket dimension to gain power and the world offers you a system to help all creatures grow. In all fairness the world's system will only tell you you're status such as health, strength, agility, ability, stamina and other things like race and titles, and you will reincarnate at random so any questions."

"yes I would like to know why you chose me" he looks stunned "well you are the first soul I came across that is still you well not that you will understand what I am talking about" well that sounds creepy what does that even mean you are you that sounds like crazy talk I smile awkwardly "can I ask what ability I will get."

Youm smiles at me "yes Ren you will get a growth type ability that you can choose at birth of course it will start at the lowest rank which is F and go to the highest rank EX so will you become my apostle" I smile while thinking of how lucky I am to get this opportunity little did I know the horrible things that waited for me at my birth

"sure I agree" Youm smiles at me then grabs my shoulders and takes me to his star. As we are flying out I can see lush jungles, mountains, a blood red sea and a village Youm looks at me "this place Is my planet and home to all my worshipers and believers all my apostle who die come here. We will sign the contract here"

"that's great I cant wait to explore that world I am going to live to the fullest in this life."

I think to myself "so is there any power system in place where I am going." Youm look at me weirdly "no Ren it is all about how strong you are. The strong know where they must go for instant the barrens and above fight in the sky while the Dukes and above creates separate dimensions that don't affect the world." He then looks smug "man you are such a country bumpkin." Youm then laughs at my face

I then realize that I haven't asked about the races at that new planet "youm can I ask one last question." Youm looks at me and nods his head "what other races are there." He then stop writing the contract and flick the pen on to the table "hmm there are quite a lot there are humans, dwarfs, elves, vampires, beastmen, spirits and the monsters oh and angels and demons but you will learn about at the schools for all races created by the gods."

"ok I am ready to go there." Youm smiles at me "great Ren just sign here." He then hands me the contract that I sign. He then gets up from his chair stretches. "ok now we will decide on your race and all that." He then waves his hand and a spinning wheel appears with all the races names.

"now spin the wheel Ren to choose your race if you get a race that has subspecies like the undead have ghosts, zombies , skeletons you will have to spin again to choose the subspecies." I look at him weirdly "is this really how we are doing it" Youm smiles and does not answer me.

I get up from my chair to spin the wheel I then think to myself why cant he just make me reincarnate as a strong race.

I reach the wheel and spin it hard as I see it go pass things like human, vampire, angel I see it land on beastmen "YES!" I shout in excitement. Youm then waves his hand and another one pops up that is rather dense he then ask "Would you like land or sea beastmen?"

I stop to think about it but then remember all sorts of scary fish in the sea and can only imagine it can be 10 times worse in a fantasy world "I will pick land"

I then see roughly 60% of the names displayed disappear I then ready myself and spin the wheel once again. I watch as it passes great names like dragon, lion, bear, bird but it slows down and look like it will fall on spider, panda goat. I then see it lands on panda beastmen and fall down

"I want to cry" I say Youm looks at me and laughs at me "hahaha man that funny well time to send you of have a great time in your new life."

He then flicks his finger on my forehead and all I can hear is him laughing at me now that I am going to live a new life i smile
