The Assistant hesitated, but he had to take Ratsujin's blood sample to the lab. He listened to Asta and walked out of the room.
Several minutes later!
The Assistant returned to the room, but his eyes widened in shock as he saw no one in the room. Even Ratsujin was not in the room.
The Assistant got scared. He ran straight towards the Doctor.
The Doctor was standing at the reception when he heard his Assistant's voice. "S...S...Sir."
The Doctor turned around and saw his Assistant standing behind him, out of breath. The Doctor spoke while his Assistant caught his breath. "What's wrong?"
The Assistant spoke, "T... Th... The... patient is no longer in the room."
As The Doctor heard his Assistant's words, he spoke in a casual voice. "You mean Ratsujin. He was discharged. His Dad took him home."
Suddenly, the Assistant remembered something. He remembered the dagger that was used to stab Ratsujin. "The dagger was not in the room." The Assistant spoke to himself.
He slowly walked away from the Doctor till he was out of his sight and ran straight towards the room back.
The Assistant entered the room and looked around, trying to spot the dagger, but it was nowhere to be seen. The Assistant got scared. He sat on the bed and said to himself, "Where could it have gone? I left it here. What am I supposed to do now? I can't tell the Doctor. I'll lose my job if I tell anyone about it."

Thirty minutes later!
The second after the Assistant left!
Asta asked, "Ratosi, what were you doing in that alley?"
After hearing Asta's words, Ratsujin tried to pressure his mind and remember what happened to him, but he could not remember anything.
"I don't remember..."
Ratsujin continued, "I was waiting in the park for Ravern, but he did not come. So I decided to walk back. Then I was in an alley. After that, I don't remember what happened."
Asta spoke, "Ok, Let's go home now."
Ratsujin smiled as he heard his Dad's words. "But what about Mom? What am I going to tell her?" Ratsujin asked in a nervous voice.
Asta responded with a smile, "I already handle everything. All you have to do is not tell her you were stabbed, and we are good to go."
After explaining everything to Ratsujin, Asta took Ratsujin out of the Hospital. Both of them were standing at the entrance of the Hospital. Ratsujin was holding his Dad's hand while walking with him.
Asta first took Ratsujin to a dustbin and dumped all of the medicine and the file the Doctor had given him for his son.
Asta said, "My son does not need this thing. They are useless."
Asta then took Ratsujin to a parking lot where he already had booked a cab for them. He gazed at Ratsujin and said, "Ratosi, you go home."
Ratsujin got sad as he realized his Dad was not going home with him. He spoke in a defeated tone, "You are not coming, are you?"
Asta responded while he patted Ratsujin's head. "I have some unfinished work to do. Besides that, I have to get you a new watch since they stole your new one."
Ratsujin did not speak further and sat in the cab. He was sad and did not look at his Dad at all and waited for the cab driver to drive.
As Ratsujin was waiting, he heard a knock on the car door's window, bet he did not look as he knew his Dad was the one who knocked at the window.
The cab driver lowered the window for Asta to talk. Asta entered his head through the window and said, "What's that bag next to you?" Asta spoke with a sly smile.
After hearing his Dad's voice, Ratsujin slowly looked next to him and saw two bags on the seat with him.
"Go on, open it," Asta said.
Ratsujin slowly grabbed the first bag, opened it, and saw his favorite sandwich and drink. Both of the items had Ratsujin's name written over it.
Asta smiled as he saw a smile forming on Ratsujin's face slowly. "Open the second one."
Ratsujin swiftly opened the second bag and saw a video game with Ratsujin's name written on it. The game was a dual-player game that Ratsujin was considering asking his Dad to get it.
"Load up the game we'll play at night," Asta said.
Just as Ratsujin heard his Dad's words, all of his sadness faded away. He responded with a smile and a nod.
"See you at night," Asta winked at Ratsujin with a smile, pulled his head out of the window, and signaled the cab driver to go.
