[Firepower!]

[Safe Zone Area]

"Hey! How long do you think we need to hide here?" One of the male survivors asked as he looked at the flying monsters above the high school building. Like vultures they were circling around the area trying to prey on the players who were trying to venture out in search of food or weapons to increase their [safe time].

As easy as it was in the beginning, the situation flipped in the last two days, making even the smallest contribution worth fighting over.

"I don't know about you, but I got about 50 hours so I am fine. What about you?" His partner stationed to watch over those monsters with him asked with a hint of complexity in his words.

"Same as you," the first boy sighed before he looked at another pair of boys coming up for the next shift.

"How is the situation?" One of the boys asked the scouts, who only shook their heads before speaking,"bad. How about things there? Is Luke still going on with that… thing of his?"

The new duo sighed as they nodded. Their expressions were grim as they looked at each other before one of them got closer and hushed,

"I have heard that he was planning to have his way with all the girls here, with 7 or 8 boys. Though because of the system and safe zone, the girls are still safe. Just that… we don't know what will happen in the next tutorial."

"WHAT THE F-" One of the scouts was infuriated while the newer scout covered his mouth immediately. The other new scout then sighed as he grumbled,

"Just where is Alice when you need her. Only she can fight that monster now… how did things end up this bad?"

Things were bad in the safe zone. Extremely bad.

[Adrian's POV!]

.

"All right. So, what should be my next move here?"

My eyes traced the city around as far as I could see before I looked at the amount of points I had right now. While it would be better to go find the survivors in the safe zone, I think it would be wiser to gain some strength first.

"You there?" I asked and he appeared. My favorite shopkeeper in this apocalypse, the white goblin. His smile widened, as he looked at me with that ugly grin. His eyes observed my body with an ever so exciting look, before he laughed out loud…

"Kekekekeke! You are finally awake! Kekekeke! This boring event is going to be fun again! Kukukuku!"

"Show me the [Shop]" I asked as he presented me with all the things available there.

"The number of things are quite less than last time, huh?" I thought as I scrolled through the shop. It seems like most things are bought now. Even 3 of the top 10 times were sold, making me wonder who took them.

"A lot of things happened while you were slumbering. There are many people who are now getting better at using their gifts, a few even reaching above you. If you want to catch up with them, it would be better to hurry up," the white goblin spoke as he observed my body with interest.

It didn't shock me at all that there were people who got stronger while I was in slumber. Given how Mark and Alice's were, it was obvious that others would have something similar as well. Perhaps even better. It won't take long for them to get strong at all.

But that never concerned me. Not even once.

"I will take these two," I spoke as I selected the two items I thought would work the best for me.

[Weapon: Twin Guns of Azeroth!

"You are changing weapons, huh? Hmm. With your new powers, I think it is a good choice. But I don't think it would work in the long run though," the white goblin spoke again. His face analyzed my choices, while I ignored him. He was more talkative than before now for some reason.

[GM Points: 1498!]

I gave it a bit of thought before applying changes on the serum again.

[Weapon Enhancement Potion (Permanent) (Grade - E)

Effects: Enhances the effect of the Weapon by 50%!

Restriction:

-Only work on weapons equal or below E-Grade!

-Only work on [Twin Guns of Azeroth!]

-Only works in Tutorial 3!]

[Would you like to make changes for 340 GM Points?!]

It was cheap. I wondered if it was because it was an E-Grade potion, or was it because it was limited to an E-Grade weapon? Though giving it another thought I then increased the effect's percentage again.

[Weapon Enhancement Potion (Permanent) (Grade - E)

Effects: Enhances the effect of the Weapon by 100%!

Restriction:

-Only work on weapons equal or below E-Grade!

-Only work on [Twin Guns of Azeroth!]

-Only works in Tutorial 3!]

Clicking [Yes], I then used that potion on the guns. And with that, I had used up almost all of my points. Both GM Points, and the tutorial ones.

"Just what kind of absurd [Gift] do you have that allows you to modify everything?" The Goblin looked at me with a dumbfounded look, while I just smiled at him before pointing my gun at the monster on the building next to me.

I wonder how many points that guy is worth. The D-grade boss monster took about 1500 Attack power to be killed. So, I could only hope this one should be the same as well.

"Let's start with 500," I mumbled as I put 500 Mana into the gun, creating a shining blue bullet inside it. And aiming properly using the [Perception!]I focused as much as I could.

-Bang!

The first bullet left the gun, hitting the forehead of that flying bird, as it was thrown a few meters away. I could see it was hurt badly, which gave me a rough idea of its durability.

-Bang!

Another 500 Mana, and that bird fell on the ground. It was breathing still, but was unable to move at all.

-Bang!

1500 Mana means about 1000 attacks if I include [Mana sense] and all. And it takes about 100 seconds for that much Mana to refill. The points were good and the hunting speed was nice as well. Though given the opportunity, I thought it would be better to work on my guns and increase the efficiency of the guns as my primary objective.

'I wonder how much it would cost to increase the Grade of the gun?' I thought as I simply changed the grade to check the points required.

[Weapon: Twin Guns of Azeroth!

Rank: D

Description: Allows the user to shoot mana bullets at a rapid speed. These dual guns have the power to pierce even the densest of the defenses!

Attack power: Wisdom x Mana Applied x 2

Effects:

-With each shot hit, the user's chance of landing a critical hit increases by 1%!]

'Oh nice! This could be a game changer,' my eyes lit up, before I saw two more flying monsters coming in this direction. I stretched a little, before I then pointed my gun at them. Focusing properly, I began charging up the gun, this time with 1500 MP!

-Bang!

The shots attracted a few more monsters from the surrounding, but my mana was below 500 now. I could feel a strange weakness in my body, probably due to mana exhaustion, so I slowly walked inside the building again.

Taking out the sword, I then switched the weapons in case a monster appeared from the water as well. And pretty sure enough, two goblin-like monsters, this time greenish blue in color and fins all over their body, were coming up the stairs.

-Slash!

"It's going to be a long day, huh?" I thought as I saw a few more of those swamp goblins coming from the underwater. Their number increased as time passed, which kind of made me happy. I was getting closer to my goal after all.
