[Gibral (White Goblin)'s POV!]
Returning from the Admin's meeting, I immediately went towards the tutorial's safe zone. My eyes observed everything around that was happening, and to my surprise, the previously cowering players were now enthusiastically hunting the filthy water goblins.
"Seems like things have taken an unexpected turn," I smiled as I went to the nearest student and observed him skilfully hunting the goblins. Seems like they have improved quite a lot compared to how they were at the start.
Though I wasn't interested in them. Whom I was interested were a bunch of players that showed more promise than others. And hence, I went to Luke first.
Using that Mana Sword, he was able to slice most of the goblins easily. The hunting speed was okay given the water goblins were now considerably less in number. Had it been a ground battle, he could have outshined all the people here.
"His arrogance and pride is a bit of a problem though. If he could control that, he has a lot of potential. Plus his gift isn't half bad," I made a quick note of him, before observing his hunting methods again.
'If he gets some better weapons, he will become much better. Hmmm. I'll recommend him to a Level 5 Admin later on,' I thought out before making some more adjustments to my notes.
One of the duties of a watcher was to find potential candidates and send them to their respective admins for proper training. The better the candidate's potential, the higher the level of admin they will be sent to. In return, we watchers will receive promotion points. It was a fair deal.
"Next is Alice. Oh! She is with Mark and Alex. This makes things easier," I smiled as I assessed them together.
Their synergy was… bad. Even though they did their roles pretty much fine, and were a good party, their gift or to be precise the skills they had, were a bad match up. It was hindering their growth more than it should have aided them.
"Well. At least they are performing well," I sighed as I saw them doing well on their own. Their individual powers were far enough to handle the goblins so there wasn't much need for synergy. The group of girls were supporting them, and honestly, even though weaker, the girl's synergy was much better than those three.
"All right. Alice and Alex to Level 7 Admin. Mark to Level 4. Samantha to Level 3. Julia to 2. Hmmm… the others… 3,2,3,4…" I assessed them one by one before my eyes looked at the distance where the monsters were.
"That guy should be there too," I thought as I couldn't help but widen my smile. That guy, with the weakest gift in the entire batch of players. The one with the ability to manipulate all the things around him.
[You don't have the authority to look at the status of the Target!]
That was the message I got when I first tried to assess him. I thought he had a special gift that allowed the others to not let anyone peek into him but as I observed him more, I realized how much I have been underestimating him.
For me, who can even assess [Immortal Grade], to not be able to see through means he has something beyond. Or there is something entirely special about him. Whatever the case be, he was truly the most special of all the beings I have seen.
Even though I can't see his stats, I can see the stats of items and weapons he uses. And, my god, each time I saw him doing something, the stats of his items and weapons changed drastically.
'Given how much he improved his items, bet he can improve skills too. Perhaps even create them?' I came to some form of conclusion. Though it was just a theory based on what I have observed up until now.
"Let's see how he is doing," I then clicked my fingers and the surroundings changed. My eyes tried finding him, and it didn't even take a moment before I saw him. But my eyes widened as I observed the absurd situation in front of me.
-Whoosh!
He jumped from one roof to another, before running towards the edge within a second. And then jumping on the closest Pelikan, he aimed at the demonic goblin riding it.
Two silent bullets killed that red goblin in an instant and another two took out that pelikan, before he jumped at the head of the Next pelikan. Aiming at the head, he shot another 4 bullets, and then jumped to the next building where two more goblins riders were coming towards his direction.
Just like that a pair of goblins and pelikans fell into the water, losing their life even before they could resist.
I then saw him aiming once again, shooting once again. Two more shots, each at the incoming pelikans, while the goblins jumped off before landing at the roof where he was. His eyes seemed a little tired as he took out a fatigue removal potion and drank it, while the red goblins ran towards him at an insane speed.
'He will die!' I panicked for a moment, before I suddenly saw his speed doubling for a moment. Narrowly dodging the attack, I saw both his guns pressed against the heads of those goblins as he made two more shots.
-Thud! Thud!
Fell down the lifeless body of those goblins as he stood there, observing the area before his eyes reached the one he was searching for.
Standing alone at the top of that building, he looked in the distance ahead. At the last goblin riding the Adult Pelikan about a kilometer away. The Goblin King.
…
[Adrian's POV!]
'Well, that takes care of all the surrounding goblins,' I thought with a tired but joyful smile. There were two big reasons for my smile.
[Congratulations: You have killed 10,000 Monsters!]

A near perfect skill for dueling. I think I can go head to head with that guy as well.
And the next things that I was happy about was,
[GM Points: 176,000!]
While I wanted to use it on agility, I decided that the speed that I had now was fine. Plus with the [Hunt!] skill, I don't need to worry about Agility for this round. Thus, let's take a few seconds and pour some points on the gun.
Though I was thinking about what to write, I already had a general plan for what I wanted. And with that, I put down the details before looking at the cost of what I wanted.
[Weapon: Twin Guns of Azeroth!

-Close Combat Mode: Convert the Gun into twin Knives that cost the same amount of mana as much as the user desires!]
[Would you like to make the following changes for 150,000 Points?]
The original change was a simple one with an increase of multiplier from 2 to 10. It was a huge increase in firepower, but right now what I wanted more than fire power was utility. Hence, I sacrificed 50% of the power in exchange for utility.
I still kept some specific changes like the [Burst Mode], that would help me push the current gun to at least near the original firepower. Though the recovery is still 5 seconds, I don't think it's going to be much of a problem given my increased agility.
'From its posture, it sure looked like a strength/defense buffed boss. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be a speed type,' I prayed internally before taking one last look at all the things that I had.
"All right. Let's get the boss fight started," I mumbled as I began moving towards that Giant Goblin, still looking at me as if I were a worm.
'Well. If all goes wrong, I still have the [Ring of Resurrection], I suppose?' I thought before hurrying up towards him.
