CHAPTER 33

After spending 3 hours at the park, the time clocked 4pm and it was time to go home as everyone was tired and the children have already started dispersing with their parents one after the other. She hugged each one of them and got chocolates for them as the kids happily thanked her and ended up saying a mass prayer for her. Her active spirit has been brought back to life as she jovially walked back into the car, thanking and appreciating Jace for reviving back her jovial self.

Three minutes into their journey back home, she turned out glanced at the former Raynolds mansion. She could remember how she used to sneak out of the mansion to stroll to the park with Jace. Looking at the mansion, that was now under numerous locks, as her parents have moved to a bigger mansion at the presidential area due to her father's new political position in the country. She looked away, trying her best to shut her mind from bringing back the memories that this mansion housed. The home in which she was birthed and raised, the lonely huge mansion, the home that housed tge memories of her very first love life, the home that still housed all her negative events. This same mansion was were her first betrayal happened. The memories of her forced arranged marriage, sufferings and all she's going through now, all started in this same mansion.

Right now, she is happy that she has moved from that mansion and all it's negative memories. She is a work in progress and she was relieved her peace of mind was gradually coming back.

She almost chocked as she remembered the words her mother said to her few days before the hearings, she knew her mother was just her father's puppet and a shadow of her own self and right now, she couldn't help but care less about what anyone thinks of her, all her life she has lived it to please her parents, to please her family, all for the sake of her family's reputation. And all this while, no one cared about her emotions, her feelings, how she's faring, how she's coping, so right now she's only going to do her, not minding who gets hurt or not. The only thing that mattered to her now was getting her anolment and total freedom away from Cameron and whatever concerns him, and seeing him paying for his crimes in prison. Getting back her sanity, peace of mind and this man beside her.

She looked up at Jace and giggled after Jace caught her staring at him. He was really her lucky frog that turned into her prince charming as she recalled the days he called her Princess Lexa.

They had created a social media awareness campaign on all social media platforms to draw people's attention to the court case. The document and pictures been posted on the net has drawn alot of people's attention and has also drawn supporters from every part of the country for Jace and Lexa. The masses kept on spreading the news as many supporters had sympathy on Lexa for all she went through. The news kept spreading like wide fire, as the rumors kept flying around. Lexa's supporters kept increasing by the day as the poor masses kept encouraging and boosting her courage on the media. The people knew how powerful rich people are, how they trample on the rights of the poor to achieve whatever they want. While other were happy that it was one of the rich family's daughter that was in the middle of this, battling and struggling for her freedom, they were pleased the rich will also have a taste of their own medicine, while others pitied her, some women that had gone through such experience reached out to Lexa and promised to help her regain her freedom.
