Chapter 358: Final Chapter (Part 3)

Chapter 358: Final Chapter (Part 3)

Is Tang San dead?

Of course not. In fact, he's still conscious right now. After all, he's a God-King. Even though he's been stuck in the past and hasn't innovated, his raw strength is still significant.

Otherwise, how could he have toyed with a newly ascended God like Huo Yuhao in the original ending?

A mere self-destruction of a first-level god is not enough to kill Tang San, so he definitely heard what Du Qianjue said.

"...Bastard!" Tang San, barely hanging on to life, almost choked at those words.

What kind of scoundrel does it take to say something like that?

If it weren't for his survival instinct and his fear of death, Tang San would have considered just ending it all right there.

"Chaos God! I admit, in terms of strategy, you're one step ahead of me, but that was only because you were in the dark while I was in the light!" Tang San growled hoarsely, struggling to raise his body and shout at Du Qianjue.

"If we were to fight again, I wouldn't lose! If you've got the guts, let's have a fair one-on-one fight, or I won't accept it!"

Du Qianjue, who was preparing to heal Tang San, paused for a moment, and both Bi Ji and the Goddess of Life stopped what they were doing, glancing at Du Qianjue with questioning eyes.

The God of Destruction, however, spoke impatiently, "Why does he deserve a fair fight? Just kill him already!"

"Who knows what dirty tricks he might pull again? It's safer to just finish him off right now!"

You have to admit, the God of Destruction was always cautious.

He wasn't giving Tang San any chance to turn the tables.

But Du Qianjue's expression was rather odd.

Well, before, he had been annoyed that Tang San had collapsed without him even having to lift a finger, not giving him the satisfaction of beating him down.

Now, Tang San was actively asking for it?

When had he ever heard of someone making such a ridiculous request?

"Sure! Since you want to fight, I'll humor you!" Du Qianjue chuckled and waved his hand, then turned to Bi Ji and the Goddess of Life. "Let's heal him completely, so after I thoroughly beat him, he can't claim his injuries weren't fully healed, and that my victory was unfair."

"Is this okay? Won't something unexpected happen?" Bi Ji hesitated.

The Goddess of Life just shrugged, not showing any concern.

Even if Du Qianjue couldn't handle it, wasn't she and Xiao Zi here? With three God-Kings standing around, could Tang San really turn the tide?

The Phoenix God and Xiao Wu were dead, Dai Mubai and the others had been blown away by the earlier explosion, and no one knew where they were. Tang San was truly isolated and helpless in the Divine Realm now, like someone who had completely run out of allies.

If Du Qianjue wanted to fight, then so be it…

So, she nodded at the God of Destruction, who begrudgingly suppressed his urge to kill Tang San on the spot and turned his head away with a cold snort.

Seeing that his plan to provoke Du Qianjue had succeeded, Tang San's bloodstained face twisted into a sly grin.

Hmph, these youngsters are too arrogant. I barely had to say anything to get him to heal me willingly.

Tang San felt pleased.

What he didn't know was that Du Qianjue was just as satisfied.

Did Du Qianjue care whether Tang San was injured or at full strength?

Not at all!

With all his powers maxed out, why would he be concerned about Tang San?

Though Du Qianjue had only reached God-King level after inheriting the positions of two God-Kings, most of what he gained from that was energy. His real strength came from his body and martial soul.

He had already been a top-tier god before inheriting his title!

Healing Tang San would just be the start of his real torment!

"Go ahead!" Du Qianjue nodded with a smile and casually snapped his fingers. A surge of rich life energy enveloped Tang San's head.

It looked almost like a glowing hat. But since the life energy was green, the hat ended up looking a bit… odd.

"Pfft… Cough, cough…" The God of Destruction couldn't hold it in and burst into laughter, pointing at Tang San's head. "Hahaha, look at that! You know what? That color actually suits you!"

One person mocking Tang San wasn't enough for the God of Destruction, so he turned to the Seven Deadly Sins and the other gods watching the scene, asking, "Don't you guys agree?"

The gods watching, although neutral, couldn't help themselves. They tried hard to keep their laughter in, but the red faces and shaking shoulders gave them away.

The Seven Deadly Sins were less concerned about manners; they were enemies, after all. They were almost rolling on the ground, clutching their stomachs in laughter.

The Goddess of Life gave Du Qianjue a strange look, wondering how her heir could be so mischievous. Then she...

Casually added a bit more light to the hat on Tang San's head.

"If you want to wear the crown, you must bear its weight, Sea God. Wear this hat well, and you will be crowned king!" she said in a serious tone, adding two rabbit ears to the hat for good measure.

At first, Tang San didn't quite understand what was happening, but when Du Qianjue conjured a crystal-clear ice mirror in front of him, he finally saw himself.

"???" Tang San was dumbfounded. One second later, his face turned the same shade of green as the hat on his head.

"You dare humiliate me like this!" He struggled and screamed in rage, but under Du Qianjue's restraint, still injured, all he could do was squirm on the ground like a worm.

"You two are too mean. How could you give the mighty Sea God such an ugly hat?" Bi Ji chimed in with mock concern, then waved her hand, making the hat on Tang San's head all fluffy, like a patch of lush, green grass.

"Well, at least add some decoration! Doesn't it look like a field of grass now? Isn't it prettier this way?"

At first, Tang San thought Bi Ji had gone mad, that she was actually defending him. But her next words hit him like a slap in the face…

This wasn't happening in private but right in front of the entire Divine Realm.

"Damn it! You're all courting death!" Tang San's eyes were bloodshot as the mocking, sneering gazes stabbed into his heart like steel blades. Every glance dealt critical damage, each one more painful than the last.

At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to destroy the entire Divine Realm and slaughter all these gods who were mocking him.

But despite his seething rage, Tang San didn't lose his composure. Instead, he became eerily calm, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he stared at Du Qianjue, the one responsible for all of this.

At first, he had wondered why Du Qianjue had so easily fallen for his taunt and agreed to heal him. Now, he understood—this was all part of the humiliation.

But there was nothing he could do. He had to endure it. Years of being in a high position had made him forget what it was like to tolerate such things, but now, he was remembering that feeling all too well.

Back when the Soul Emperor returned to the Clear Sky Clan, he said, "It was my father's mistake, and I will atone for it."

When the Title Douluo returned to the Clear Sky Clan, he said, "My father was not wrong, my mother was not wrong, but you are!"

Hurt and powerless, I must stay humble. But once you heal me, you're all dead!

"People say a dog that bites doesn't bark. This is the real Tang San—the sneaky double-dealer who'll bite you when you least expect it," Du Qianjue thought to himself.

Bi Ji and the Goddess of Life both felt a subtle sense of unease. This version of Tang San was starting to put pressure on them.

Even the God of Destruction was nervously rubbing his fingers together, sparks of purple lightning flickering between them, as if ready to punch Tang San in the face at any moment.

In this strange atmosphere, Tang San's injuries gradually healed. Though he still looked disheveled, his aura had returned to its normal state.

With two God-Kings and a first-level god healing him, as long as he wasn't dead, his recovery was swift.

Du Qianjue released his restraints on Tang San and gestured for Bi Ji and the Goddess of Life to step back.

As the two women retreated, Tang San slowly stood up from the ground.

"I'll repay this humiliation a thousand times over," Tang San said coldly.

"Alright, come at me!" Du Qianjue smiled, and his powerful aura erupted into the sky. The once-bright sunny weather turned into a gloomy, dark overcast, with grayish-white clouds thickening overhead, blocking out the sun.

"Heh, just a little trick," Tang San scoffed, summoning his Asura Sword and raising it high. An overwhelming surge of killing intent and bloodthirst filled the air.

Result...

He was completely suppressed by the power of chaos...

"This is just a small trick, your methods aren't working either!" Du Qianjue said with a smirk.

"Just talk. Let's see the truth in action!" Tang San's face darkened as he suffered multiple setbacks, and the Shura Sword in his hand erupted with a blood-red light.

"Shura, Judgement—"

Six blood-colored sword lights bloomed from the broad Shura Sword in an astonishing and beautiful display, like flowers opening. But hidden in that beauty was endless killing intent.

A Shura God technique!

Du Qianjue's expression didn't change, still carrying a faint mockery.

Facing the six sword lights aiming for all his vital points, he slowly raised his right fist. The chaos armor on his fist began to shine with brilliant, colorful light.

Those lights, each representing an element, symbolized Du Qianjue's abilities.

They intertwined, eventually forming a deep black light.

Royal Fist—Breaking the World!

Not using his powers didn't mean Du Qianjue had abandoned them; it just meant that no one was worthy enough for him to use them! With god-level strength and all attributes complete, Du Qianjue's self-created soul technique, Royal Fist, had been perfected. This punch represented the force of breaking through the world, reversing chaos with all his attributes!

Though it seemed like a light punch, it instantly obliterated Tang San's six judgment sword lights in silence. The pitch-black fist imprint didn't stop and appeared in front of Tang San.

"Wha…" Tang San was shocked, barely managing to lift the Shura Sword in front of him to block Du Qianjue's World-Breaking Punch.

Ding—

The black light exploded, its unstoppable destructive power instantly tearing the space around Tang San, exposing the endless, dark void beneath.

Keep in mind, this is the God Realm! The space here is far stronger than that of Douluo Continent. Even for the God of Destruction and Tang San, tearing the barrier of the God Realm or breaking the space inside was no simple task.

After all, the God Realm had existed for so long, with endless power of belief reinforcing its space to an unimaginable degree.

How else could it hold so many gods?

Yet this solid space barrier was shattered by Du Qianjue's casual punch!

"Can't you be more careful? This is the God Realm, not the lower realm! Breaking the space here is a real pain!" The God of Destruction shouted in frustration, clutching his chest in agony.

"Troublesome? Not really…" Du Qianjue raised an eyebrow, then casually waved his hand. The space cracks, like dust on a mirror, were wiped away in an instant, returning to their original form.

"Gah…?!" The words of the God of Destruction were stuck in his throat.

"It's just space power, what's the big deal? If I can break it, I can fix it." Du Qianjue shrugged indifferently, then turned to look at Tang San, who had fallen out of the space rift.

By now, Tang San was covered in blood. These weren't the injuries from Ma Hongjun's earlier explosion, but from the blow of Du Qianjue's World-Breaking Punch.

Even the Shura God Armor, which hadn't been damaged in Ma Hongjun's self-destruction, now had fine cracks on its surface.

The iconic blood-red spikes of the Shura God Armor were broken in many places, making it look rather bare.

"Is this all you've got, Tang San?" Du Qianjue sneered as he looked at Tang San's shocked face. "You're not that great after all. You've been in the God Realm for so many years, and you've just been wasting your life."

"Have you spent all your time training that rabbit, or have you been focusing on your underhanded schemes? You're still relying on the Shura God's innate abilities—can't you do anything better?"

"Oh, sorry, I almost forgot." At this point, Du Qianjue knocked on his forehead, apologetically saying the most cutting words, "I forgot you were originally just trash. With those two lousy martial spirits of yours that you even despised yourself, how could you expect to be any better?"

The sound of dripping blood continued, but Tang San didn't move, holding his Shura Sword, trembling all over.

Trembling with rage!

'Trash? He dares call me trash?!'

"Die! Die!!" Tang San roared in fury, his entire body igniting with a blood-red flame, and in an instant, he slashed out a terrifying blood-colored sword light that seemed capable of splitting heaven and earth.

The Shura Blood Sword!

This was the true Shura Blood Sword, the full version that required the burning of the Shura's origin for every strike!

Its power was far beyond the attacks he used against the God of Destruction without burning his Shura origin. This was his trump card, showing how utterly enraged Tang San was.

Aside from the Three Realms Judgement Sword, which required the power of the Five God Kings, this was his most desperate move.

"Not bad. This sword has some power," Du Qianjue calmly commented.

"But still, it's not even yours, right? And you can't use this kind of attack many times, can you?"

"Even though you have this power now, you're still limited when using it. You really are something, a waste with nothing but a Blue Silver Grass and a broken hammer for martial spirits!"

Royal Fist—Reincarnation!

This move was originally called Earth-Shaking, constructed with the opposite flow of the World-Breaking Punch, creating a cycle of elements that exploded with an irresistible annihilating force.

That's why Du Qianjue renamed it Reincarnation.

World-Breaking carried the force of destruction, while Reincarnation carried the force of annihilation. One was an instant explosion, the other a continuous erosion!

The colorful pillar of light collided with the blood-red sword energy, but no sound was made. The sword energy froze in mid-air, gradually entangled by the colorful light, and was slowly dyed the same colors.

Then—

Boom!

The sword energy exploded, transforming into endless light rain that fell from the sky. The vast wasteland, left barren by Ma Hongjun's earlier self-destruction, began to grow lush green plants again at an incredible speed.

Lush and verdant!

"This... isn't possible…" Tang San mumbled in disbelief, staring blankly at the falling light rain.

This was his strongest attack, yet it didn't even cut off a single strand of Du Qianjue's hair?

"I don't believe it! I don't believe it…!"

"Shura Blood Sword—"

"Shura Blood Sword—"

"Shura Blood Sword!!!"

In his madness, Tang San began burning his Shura origin without limit, slashing at Du Qianjue again and again with the Shura Blood Sword's sword energy.

Although his aura kept rising as he burned his origin, the more he burned, the more hollow and fragile he felt inside.

"It's useless, Tang San. Like I said, you're just a deceitful, selfish hypocrite with a bit of luck," Du Qianjue said as he deflected each Shura Blood Sword strike with a punch of Reincarnation.

The once gentle drizzle of colorful light now turned into a torrential downpour.

(Plants: gulp gulp… I… I can't drink anymore… really, I'll burst!)

"You're not even using your own power. How do you expect to fight me? How much of your strength actually belongs to you?" As Du Qianjue shattered each Shura Blood Sword, he slowly walked toward Tang San, step by step.

With every step, with every word, Tang San's expression became more twisted.

"No… what right do you have to judge me?! I'm a god, the strongest god!"

"The strongest? Don't make me laugh…" Du Qianjue laughed heartily. "Like I said, you're nothing but a small-minded, deceitful person living off others' crumbs!"

At that moment, Du Qianjue suddenly noticed a blue light appear on Tang San's right hand.

"?"

No way, right?

Sure enough, in the next second, thick vines with barbs appeared out of nowhere, entangling Du Qianjue.

Along with that came Tang San's loud shout:

"Blue Silver Bind!" (Chapter End)
