Chapter 31 Tasting the Dishes

Xiaoxiao entered the kitchen and began to prepare her dish. She peeled the sweet potatoes, washed them, cut them into chunks, and fried them in oil until they were golden brown, then drained them. She started to simmer the sugar and toss the sweet potatoes. In one fluid motion, she looked just like a professional chef.

"Shopkeeper, try this!"

The shopkeeper was pleasantly surprised by the golden dish before him. Its appearance alone was enticing. He picked up a piece with his chopsticks, and his eyes lit up—it was delicious, truly delectable.

"It's tasty, yes, but this is a dessert. I fear it can't be the main course!"
