The fresh air, the beautiful beaches, in the lovely environment of Coconut Island, Shen Li's health was slowly improving.
Her recovery was much slower than anticipated, but at least it was happening, her body no longer had fevers, and her pneumonia was gradually subsiding. Even Shen Li's spirits seemed better, as her pale face had at least gained some color.
"Miss Shen, your medicine," the nurse said, holding a glass of water and the pills as she approached Shen Li.
Shen Li did not move, still sitting blankly on the beach, her gaze fixed on the boundless ocean. The doctor had suggested she take a walk after lunch, and the nurse had brought her here, where she had been sitting ever since.
It had been sunny when they first arrived, but the weather had changed in the blink of an eye. Dark clouds at the far end of the sky were slowly advancing towards them, the wind had picked up, and the once calm sea was now churning with waves that crashed onto the beach.
