Work done at the beginning of the week

Ellena's POV

After the weekend ends, work always piles up. Today, there are a lot of files and new projects to review. In my division, after receiving files and proposals for a project, tasks are immediately divided. I happen to have several tasks that all need to be completed urgently.

Even though I'm known as a workaholic, I'm still human and can complain about being tired. Work is important; without it, I might be homeless right now. I also feel very fortunate to still have a place to earn money. No one can help me except myself, especially since I live with Uncle Martin, which means my responsibilities are substantial.

"Oh my ... why does it always feel like this after the weekend? I just started to breathe fresh air, and now I have to deal with so much work," I complained at my desk, my eyes fixed on the computer screen displaying several proposal files.
