The presence that bothers me

Ellena's POV

I was so captivated by the interior of this party that I didn't notice when Mr. August moved to another area with his colleagues. I scanned the room, and when I finally spotted him, I slowly walked over to stand beside him.

I had often seen him up close and had always admired his good looks. Even now, I never get tired of saying how handsome Mr. August is and how he exudes the aura of a true gentleman. He looks like a prince on a white horse, standing so nobly before me.

I thought he wouldn't notice my presence, so I decided to relax and enjoy the party. But suddenly, Mr. August glanced over at me and whispered about what they were discussing. "We're talking about business." I smiled and nodded to show I understood.
