Long Journey

After a long journey, they finally arrived in the region of Alams. However, the palace was not their first destination. Arthur brought his wife to the royal cemetery, where Elizabeth's father was buried.

Elizabeth looked happy as they arrived at the place where she was born. Feeling like she had returned home, Elizabeth smiled and thanked Arthur for the surprise. The carriage, driven by Conward, moved towards the cemetery. Elizabeth got out and looked around. Her sadness emerged when she realized that there were no grand buildings to greet her anymore, nor the figure of the crowned king.

"Elizabeth, this way," Arthur pointed out the correct path to her father's final resting place.

Elizabeth's steps seemed shaky as she approached the gravestone bearing her father's name. Her legs suddenly weakened, almost unable to support her body. Fortunately, Arthur quickly caught her and helped her reach the grave.
