A fulfledge Dark mage

I stood frozen as the harbringer slowly rose from the rubble, his body shifting back into place with an eerie fluidity that defied nature. The sound of bones snapping into alignment echoed through the cold night, each crack sending a jolt through my spine. His eyes, now ablaze with a cold, malicious glow, locked onto mine, a faint smile creeping across his lips.

"You thought that was enough?" His voice was low, taunting, each word laced with venom. "All you've done is waste your last opportunity to escape."

I could barely breathe as the reality of my mistake sank in. He wasn't defeated. If anything, my desperate attempt to end him had only angered him further. His expression twisted into a sneer, and with a slow, deliberate step forward, he began closing the distance between us.

"You misunderstand, fool," he continued, his voice steady, unnervingly calm. "Pain is temporary. Death is... unreliable. You should've known this before daring to challenge me."
