When Darkness Falls (bxg)

"Sig! It's so good to see you again!" I said to the giant, who laughed as I released a happy squeal.

"It's good to see you as well. I wondered if you would like to go somewhere with me?" Sig asked and I nodded my head.

I was eager to get out of this castle, but even though I was going outside, I was still a prisoner here, so it wasn't something that should be celebrated, but I was still happy nonetheless.

Once I was safely on his shoulder like I was before, he started to head towards the front door. A guard there opened it for us, and I waved at him; he responded by waving at me as well, which had me chuckling.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked, eager to find out. Somehow, I was feeling happy and the conversation that I had with my mother and the king was far from my mind.
