Rosette’s POV
Today is the day. Today, October 25, is the day that both of my grandfathers finally get married. Everything is ready for them to get hitched, the tables are set up with the different colors of the pride flags. All of the tables have a different flag theme, showing through the different flower arrangements, table cloths, the cutlery, cloth napkins, bowls and plates. The drapes are actually the flags, flying proudly for all to see.
I smile at all of my hard work, knowing that it will all pay off in a matter of a few hours. I hear footsteps coming up behind me, so I turn my head and see Thaddeus in a crimson suit with a black tie, which complements my mom’s old wedding dress that I previously updated and wore for the Royal Ball. I turn to him fully, allowing him to pull me into a hug. He leans down, nuzzling his head into my perfectly braided hair.
