Chapter 41: Emotionally Charged Room

Rosette's POV

I feel the shift in Thaddeus, letting me know that the personality, or rather person, I have heard some rumors about, is about to come forward. I knew what I was doing when I said, 'Alright, your funeral', as I knew that he was waiting for the right moment. He being Kane, the person that comes out when Thaddeus is extremely pissed off, when he's murderous. Even I know not to piss him off, and I'm his mate, someone he will never hurt. I just hope that this will end quickly, and without bloodshed.

“You’ve done it now, Amirah,” Thaddeus and Kane’s mom says. The answer that Amirah gives is a scoff, which seems to cause something to snap in my mate as I hear a rumble in his chest.
