Chapter 10 : One Year

The so-called bedroom Luna Diana had left me in was more like a full luxury penthouse apartment they’d somehow stuffed into a whole hall.

I had stars in my eyes as I took in the massive bedroom before me, one that I couldn’t seem to wrap my head around that it was now… mine? Or that I was using it at least.

The bed alone had to be worth more than every paycheck I’d ever received in my entire life, which wasn’t much, but still. It was beyond my expectations to live somewhere so luxurious, a place literally I imagine a princess would live in.

The floors were cold tile, intricate patterns while the walls had silk wallpapers, the feel of them nicer than any piece of clothing I had ever owned. There was a fireplace with no fire, wood paneling, and stonework separating the mantle from the silk walls with the same intricate detail that was in the entire rest of the palace.
