DILEMMA.

"Why? You caused trouble didn't you?" Mr. Daniel asked.

"What? Dad?!" Abigail said. She was surprised by what her father said.

"Did you? Or did you not?"Mr. Daniel asked.

"Dad….?" Abigail said. She was shocked.

"Answer the question, Abigail," Mr. Daniel said. He looked at his daughter.

"No! I Can not imagine, you asking such a question, don't you know me again?" Abigail said.

"I know you, and I am not accusing you, just wait until we get home," Mr. Daniel said. He started the engine of the truck and drove off.

But still, Abigail was not happy with her father's reaction to her detention.

Abigail was not happy throughout that day, she held the torn price of paper, that she drew on. Abigail could not imagine that no one wanted to hear her out, it was very annoying but she Keith quiet, and she was done explaining herself to anyone.

Abigail did not care about the detention, she just wanted to avoid everyone now, just be alone. Abigail imagined herself walking back into the class, after the whole incident, she just imagined everyone staring at her as she walked in, this time, a hood could not cover the eyes of people and it would attract the attention of everyone in the class, and the school at large.

The imagination was unbearable for her, she wished not to go to school the following day.

Later that day, when Abigail got home, she just went straight to her room. Mr. Daniel knew that she was upset and he let her cool down.

Abigail went straight to her room, Abigail was so mad, she started crying and she took a look at the drawing and how damaged it was.

Abigail hung it on the wall of her room. As she lay on the bed, everything, that happened came replying back, even though she tried not to make it disturb her.

But certainly, it came and stayed in her head. Abigail was thinking about Principal Watson's approach to the case, and how partial the judgment was, which made Abigail angry the more.

Abigail wished it was the principal she bit not the teacher, and she wished she had a chance to do that to the principal but she remembered that she did not wish to go back to the school.

Abigail heard a knock on her door.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!  She heard on the door, and definitely, she knows who is knocking, her dad.

"Abigail… Princess! We need to talk.." Mr. Daniel said. As he knocked on the door, he placed his ear on the door.

"No, go away…." Abigail replied. She refused to let him in.

Mr. Daniel tried to let himself in, but the door was locked.

"Abigail. Okay I am so sorry, for the way I reacted, but you know I thought you did something wrong, just found out what really happened, right now," Mr. Daniel said. He knocked on the door again and tried to open the door, but it was still locked.

"You just found out? So what did you find?" Abigail asked from inside her room.

"Princess opens the door, first, so we can discuss," Mr. Daniel said. He kept trying to open the door, ignoring his daughter's question.

"I asked a question, what did you find out? Huh?" Abigail asked, from the room.

Mr. Daniel gasped. "I was called by your principal, Principal Watson, she told me what happened," Mr. Daniel said.

"Did you believe her?" Abigail asked. She was curious as to how her father stood in this case.

"No, I did not. I believe you, Princess, I sincerely do, I know you feel scared, just open the door and let us talk, okay?" Mr. Daniel said.

"No one believed me, I don't like people, at all, nor do I wish to go back to that school," Abigail said.

"Yes you wouldn't, I got that covered," Mr. Daniel said. He was still standing by the door.

"What do you mean by you got that covered? As much as I wish to not go to the school, anymore, I don't have a choice, it is only school available to us right now, we can't afford a private school," Abigail said from inside the room.

"Yes we can, because I am going to pay for it and I have already started the process of enrollment, in another school for you, princes, just open the door and let us talk okay?" Mr. Daniel said.

Mr. Daniel heard footsteps from behind the door of Abigail's room, definitely, it was Abigail. Abigail opened the door.

She was looking messed up, she hadn't changed her clothes yet.

"Hey….. Princess, you look. Worked out. I am sorry for what happened, I got a gift for you," Mr. Daniel said. He turned around and he brought out a teddy bear and a box of chocolate.

"Here you go," Mr. Daniel said. He handed it over to her.

"Wow! Dad! How did you get or of these?" Abigail asked. He was happy and surprised at the same time, just a mixed feeling.

"Let me just sales were good today, I did not bring anything back, I sold everything," Mr. Daniel said. He pointed to the truck.

"Wow! But how are going to pay for my private school, you know it is very expensive, do you want to sell the farm?"  Abigail asked.

"No, I did not, don't worry you will see it soon," Mr. Daniel said.

"Okay, what are we celebrating?" Abigail asked.

"Let us just say, my princess, victory over the bullies, strong and independent girl or woman, I may say," Mr. Daniel said, she praised his daughter.  They both laughed and smiled.

"Thank you, dad. So when am I starting in my new school?" Abigail asked.

"Tomorrow, if you want," Mr. Daniel said.

"Yes, thank you," Abigail said.

From that day on, Abigail's life changed mysteriously, she had money to spend, and she never knew her father would get it, though he is a farm, and they still lived in the farmhouse.

EIGHT YEARS LATER.

Abigail is now a grown woman, she is now nineteen years old, and her twentyth birthday is around the corner.

Abigail attended college, she is studying psychiatry in the college. But Abigail still held back some bad memories from her childhood, like the fight in school, and many questions like her mom, where about, and how is her father paying for her tuition fee, but she refused to ask do it wouldn't look as if she was ungrateful.

As a grown woman, Abigail was expecting herself to find love but she was just locked out of anything relationships and attention from the opposite sex or anyone outside the family.

So she felt odd when someone tried to come close to her, Abigail thought that it was a tactic to get to her, so she stayed alone and avoided communication, but she did well in school.

Abigail sat alone throughout her break, the only friend she had was the teddy bear, that her father gifted her when she was younger.

Abigail usually played and laughed with the teddy bear, she usually said that the toy usually spoke to her, said funny things, and she was a complete weirdo.

One day, Abigail was in class, and the lecturer was explaining something on the board. He was making a serious explanation about mental illness.

The lecturer noticed that Abigail was in the back seat, because that is where is normally seat, just to avoid people.

Abigail was not paying attention so far throughout the lecture, she was busy playing with dolls or Teddy Bear, as you may call them.

The lecturer stopped and he looked at her, Abigail did not know, everyone turned to see what made the lecturer pause the lecture.

When everyone turned back, they saw Abigail playing with Teddy Bear, and she would laugh and talk to it.

Everyone started laughing, Abigail thought that the lecturer said something funny but she did not care to know what he said that was funny.

The lecturer halted everyone from laughing, so he could snap her out of her childishness.

COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!!

The lecturer coughed intentionally and he got the attention of Abigail. Abigail raised her head, and she saw everyone looking at her.

" oh! Wow! A lot of attention, I am sorry if I was a distraction, just having fun with my friend, Teddy….. Teddy is my friend that I was having fun with," Abigail said. She was not scared of the of admitting that the teddy bear was her friend.

"Psycho....!" a boy said in the crowd, and everyone laughed.

Some group of girls looked at her and laughed.

"Miss. I can't repeat myself, the topic is mental health issues, just get some tutorials on YouTube, alright, class let us continue, pay attention miss!" the lecturer said.

Abigail nodded,

The class continued.

After the class, Abigail went to the cafeteria to get done with peace and quiet. She was reading a book peacefully, when some girls from a class, approached her.

As they got close to Abigail, one of them slapped the book off her hands rudely. "Hey weirdo,".

Abigail gasped. "Not again, now what do you want?" Abigail Asked.

"A weirdo… that is what I want?" the girl said.
