Confession

After leaving the restaurant, Greg was about to flap down a cab when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw it was his maternal grandmother.

A warm look settled in his brooding eyes and swiped the green button. "Hey, grandma," he greeted.

In another location, a beautiful old woman sat with her phone to her ear, her red lips stretched into a sweet smile. "My dear grandson, when are you coming to see me?"

"Is something important going on at your side?" Greg questioned patiently.

"What do you mean? Must something happen before you come to your Meemee?"

A faint smile tugged at Greg's lips, "I'm quite busy at the moment, I'll see you when I've settled things on my end."

The old woman sighed, "Your cousin told me what happened at the company yesterday. Do you need any help?"

"Davis was exaggerating, you don't have to worry, granny."
